The parking lot is a small lot right next to the rails. Trail is pretty, no views but has a small lake a LOT OF TICKS in the first half of the summer. Dog-friendly but keep them on leash

A lot of easy trails but many are not well marked besides this main loop. Mostly well maintained, you can also go around the pound and check out the dam. There is a construction on the other end of the pound but just follow the signs for the trail. There are mosquitos but fortunately no ticks (we walk here every week).

Very nice quiet hike. The trail is well marked and relatively flat. I saw a lot of lady slipper flowers.

Beautiful trail but not super well-marked. Loved the views of the marshes and the wildlife and rockage.

Lots of poison ivy and active bees/wasps. Beautiful views of the bay. Kids loved taking several “breaks” to skip and chuck rocks into the ocean.

Flat trail, lots of beautiful views of the bay, I come here all the time but I’m surprised it’s listed as moderate, this trail is really short and really easy. Still worth the walk though, I always run into some kind of awesome wildlife or wildflowers.

A lot of mud, some rockier inclines, but overall an awesome easy hike. Lots of wildlife -- muddy also means amphibious friends are easier to find if that's your thing! All in all a great Nature walk.

beautiful walk in the woods with my son and our dog. We spent some time along the shore line as well.

This is a flat trail. There is a lot of access to the shore of Great Bay. It took us about an hour taking our time. We stopped at the shore for a little bit.

Nice view of great bay, including a section that isn’t dotted by houses. Trail is short, easy, and extremely well marked. Nice for a quick walk. UNH has a lab that’s visible from the trail at one point. There’s a boat launch for non-motorized boats right by the parking area at the bottom so we’ll definitely come back in the spring with our kayaks.

01/18/19 Very easy 2 mile hike in Durham, NH. Adams Point juts out from the west into Great Bay, New Hampshire's second largest estuarine system. Fed by the tidal waters of the Piscataqua River that forms the boundary between Maine and New Hampshire, the estuary offers a variety of diverse habitats including eelgrass beds, mudflats, salt marsh, rocky intertidal zones, and upland forest and fields.

Walked the full loop for sunset and ohhh what a glorious spot it is to soak it in. Trails are well marked, coastal, plenty of parking, out house, and then there’s the wagon on the hill.

This is one of my favorite fall foliage hikes, great for small groups looking for an 8 mile scenic trail walk. It can be a little muddy at times during the rainy season but makes for a great snow shoe hike in the deep of winter!

Nice trail had fun. Went in a rainy weekend so leafs where slippery from time to time but very easy and quick, well marked and maintained.

This trail winds through lots of pleasant marshlands and big patches of ferns. I walked from the northern trailhead to Dame Road and back, with the hope of conquering the southern part of the trail on a later day.

Love this place. Not only for hiking but picnic too. Lots space for kids get there energy out. Been here for years.

Love this trail! I took my dog and he loved being able to play in the water. There are several points on the trail to make your way over to the water which is nice. We’re definitely going back.

So many different ways to go and dogs can be off leash from dawn til 10 AM! Big fields, nice trails and even a couple of dog beaches!!

A really enjoyable hike...beautiful water and forest views. comfortable but somwhat rocky terrain.

Border Trail is grass paths cut through overgrown farm fields. Made it down to the coast at low tide (check the tide chart!); go with boots if you want to explore and not get stick in the mud. Took a detour into the woods along the coastline where trail is well established, and looped back to the original trail. Beautiful area.

Started this late in the afternoon early evening yesterday June 8th. Only got about a mile and a half in because we didn’t want to be in there too late, I know a few have gotten lost due to unforeseen circumstances and one person was unprepared for dark. However the trail is well marked and maintained. Great little trail walk that I look forward to starting a bit earlier in the day and completing.
