Border Trail is grass paths cut through overgrown farm fields. Made it down to the coast at low tide (check the tide chart!); go with boots if you want to explore and not get stick in the mud. Took a detour into the woods along the coastline where trail is well established, and looped back to the original trail. Beautiful area.

great little hike, tons of poison ivy so beware. many more trails than what this map indicates.

Can’t wait to go back and hit the other trails off the main one

Started this late in the afternoon early evening yesterday June 8th. Only got about a mile and a half in because we didn’t want to be in there too late, I know a few have gotten lost due to unforeseen circumstances and one person was unprepared for dark. However the trail is well marked and maintained. Great little trail walk that I look forward to starting a bit earlier in the day and completing.

One of my favorites! Easy walk with some beautiful views. I love walking down to the rocks by the water, to watch the sunset.

Hiked this yesterday. Was absolutely beautiful, but very muddy!

Our fave place, however it could be better maintained by the university. There are also, several trails which are NOT dedicated trails leading to nowhere.

According, to this app says it's 1.6mi. This area is about 250sq miles! Not all trails are easy.

Another super place to hike in town. There's no beach but u can go for a swim if u don't mind rocks.

This is a quaint walk, gorgeous to see at sunset!

I took a fast walk the entire trail in and out no extreme mountains, relatively flat, hiked before winter snow, real nice trail. I will return many more times, Jim Raymond.

Loved the trail, plenty to see and also secluded.

It was a nice short trail. Our dog loved it!! Nice walking by the water!

Very easy family oriented walk/hike, accessing a small beach and picnic area with view of the bay. Dog friendly, but leash is required if hiking after 10AM.
Due to the proximity of to the bay, it can become icy and hard to walk on during winter after some snowy/rainy conditions. Use appropriate walking gear.
Lots of dogs roaming and playing before 10AM.

This would have been a nice nature walk if it weren't for the bugs. My wife and I both sprayed our exposed skin with bug spray but at the end of the day I had over 30 bites through my shirt.

Beautiful. Lots of trail options, not a lot of people crowding them.

By far my favorite walk around here. There's a trail along the bay and a trail cut through the fields. Extremely well maintained. My dog loves playing in the water, and all the other dogs and walkers are very nice. Never had an issue here, and I go often. Only downside is it can be busy depending when you go, but never overwhelming.

A beautiful place. A nice loop through varied terrain along great bay. Beautiful views and a nice breeze even on hot days. In early August there's a bumper crop of wild blackberries.

The only downside is poison ivy growth that can only be described as an infestation.

The trail is well maintained and marked. Friendly for kids and dogs. There are also spots where you can stop to get a decent view of the bay, or launch a canoe. All in all a good trail.

attempted to do the East section. A lot of ticks and bugs. I actually turned around, went back to the car and went someplace else. Maybe West Foss is better???

Great walk. Better knows as "Wagon Hill". A variety of well marked trails (Ie - wild rabbit, birds, monarch butterflies and of course - the trail around the lake). Nice views. Plenty of parking. Kid friendly, dog friendly (most on leashes - thank you!). The only con - highly populated.

A fun little hike. Easy/Moderate terrain. Great views if you stay on the main trail. Beautiful views of the Great Bay. The only downfalls - parking is VERY limited and the dogs are almost all off leash.
