I like doing this loop sometimes but the climb up I would say would be slow if you were with a kid.

BEAUTIFUL day spent with the kids. They rode bikes, we walked. We saw a momma goose on a nest, played in the mud by the river, and wildcrafted some yummies!!

This is a nice area but not marked at all. I think I was suppose to go straight at one point but it was posted private property. so I hiked it but not all of it.

I walked this trail as an out and back. It was well-packed dirt and gravel the entire way. The bridge over the Sugar River has nice views. It travels behind a lot of houses in Claremont but is nice and quiet. For those trying to socially distance, I was the only one out on the day I completed this walk, which was a sunny weekday

I completed this trail in two different half-section trips. It is gravel the whole way and reasonably passable on a hybrid bike. There are beautiful views of the Sugar River along the length. For those trying to socially distance, it was minimally trafficked on the two times I went, which were both clear weekday evenings. As far as shorter rail trails in NH go, I would have to say this is my favorite

Great trail! Really loved it. The Gravity Cavity is no joke! Looking forward to doing it again. A few cars in the parking lot, but everyone on the trails was extremely respectful about physical distancing. There was enough side trails, that we didn’t interact with to many people!

What a beautiful day to be outside and practice safe social distancing! We got there at noon and there was hardly anyone there. At 3ish, people were coming in in droves. The trail with the boardwalks was closed due to wetness. We found that out after we had walked the whole way. Great place for kids with bicycles.

The trail is pretty steep for a beginner like me but the view at the top is worth it. Great in town hike. The weather was perfect, not buggy at all.

The trail provided has you walk straight up the ski slope so I wouldn’t follow it directly. It was a bit hard to find the marked trails up at the top of the mountain but the view was gorgeous! Great view of Mt. Ascutney!

Impossible to follow the All Trails route. Paths are either overgrown or non-existent. Followed track as close as paths would permit. Should be remapped.

Great for snowshoeing!

this is a great little trail. it was a bit mucky in places, but easily walked through. up near the top though, there were some large vernal pools that crossed the trail. there was some significant wash out on some of the steaper parts of the trail, but easy enough to get around and still be on the trail. Black flies weren't a problem. they were there, but nothing horrible.

It's a pretty spot bit it used to be much nicer before the clear cutting. The Ascutney view is fine but it doesn't have that same isolated charm it once did. The lower trails are fun and feel like legitimate woods, particularly the one that heads by the railroad tracks.

the bridge over the Sugar River is quite pretty but aside from that its coated in litter.
