This trail kicked out butts!! But it was so worth it! We went a few years ago in October. It was warm and sunny. Def need to come back and give it another climb!

Very easy hike and short. The Waterfall is nice and the cave at the end of the trail. My daughter and her friends had a really great time. good for kida and pet

Gradual ascent up the canyon for the first couple of miles then stay to the left side of the ravine. Some bouldering but mostly a defined trail until about half way up the ravine then its climbing over a couple of rock outcroppings then back on the trail. If you hustle and don't lose the trail, count less than 2 1/2 hrs.

We went on March 3, 2018. Though it was winter, they do one or two tours a day on winter weekends. It was full, even then! If you want to go in the summer, book well in advance. The guide was awesome as she knew a lot about the cave and could give us a lot of facts (both social and scientific) about the cave. The cave is modernized with steps, cement pathways and lights. Our tour was 1.5 hours and well worth it!

I did try to record the path, but since you are underground, you can not record the path, no GPS signal. The recording and map of this path provided here is most likely the above ground visitor center nature trail loop.

More visually rewarding than the Strip in Las Vegas.

Great hike, gorgeous views. Fairly trafficked

Awesome little area to hike/snow shoe! Bring some bird seed and the birds come and land right on your hands!

An incredible trail! A good steady climb, but nothing strenuous. Lots of trees, still some snow on the ground, birds singing... just a great trail all around. I didn't go through Lower Bristlecone because it's said to be boring.

I have so much fun on this trail! There are other versions of this same trail, but I'm more than happy to do it several times. The incline is quiet steep but the views are totally worth it.

Decent hiking trail, close to the city and short drive from home, easy to moderate for kids and pets

Awesome!!! Thoroughly enjoyed the walk and view!

loved it!!! highly recommend

loved it!!!

We parked at a little pull-off on a side road near where we think the trail begins. You'll know it by the garbage and spent shotgun shells someone thoughtfully left behind.

The road is rough, but dry. Any SUVs should be suitable. The trail was dry and not too hard to find if you just head into the little canyon. Short, rocky hike suitable for anyone. We saw little shoeprints from some little people on the way, and I'd imagine children down to age 7 or so could do this. The petroglyphs were worth the modest effort! Please discourage people from touching the glyphs or making their own.

Fun little hike with beautiful views.

Bummer, the trail is closed. We tried on 4/22/18, all access is closed.

Lovely and easy trail down to the water. Crystal clear, would be nice in warmer months to take a swim. Old party house was cool. I can imagine this hike is very busy in the summer as there were lots of people hiking it in April cool weather. A boat was in the bay anchored for a lunch break too.

Its nice and beautiful when you reach the end. Also you can see the city from the top.

Very pleasant short hike with my four year old son.

Wow! Technically speaking only base on Fire Wave Trail - Nice. Small thought. The Trail is Easy, big rocks plus the “Fire Wave (like) Rocks” are just cool, watch your step the rocks are rigid but other than that it’s something different. Sit, relax and clear your mind.

Loved this hike! Very strenuous! But the views are breathtaking. I would definitely do it again!

We did this on our honeymoon, I was in a car accident about a month before and had back injuries so I couldn't do anything crazy but this was perfect and beautiful!

Took a little longer than expected, but our group loved the trail. Be sure to use the app because the trail is not well marked at places. We only saw 9 people during the entire 6.3 mile loop which is why we selected this trail. The views of Las Vegas and the Red Rocks are great and the elevation and loose rocks make the hike difficulty moderate. Loved it and would do it again. It took us 5.5 hours for the entire loop but all of us are over 60 years old.

Super pretty. There is still snow from the Jones creek/Church's pond marker. as long as you are careful
( it is pretty slick) it is totally worth it to go all the way to the pond. ⛰

Petroglyphs you can walk right up to. Hidden oasis that during times of he years has a trickle of water in this otherwise barren desert.

Loved the ease of this trail. Hiked to Lost Creek waterfall.

A great view of Lake Mead. Enjoyed the hike with a friend. The tunnels are neat.

Nice hike on a Spring morning. Disappointed at the end. Excavation at the hole with a big pipe sticking out of it. Haven't been able to find out what it was for. Anyone else have any answers?
