Awesome trail, not for beginners. Take lots of water. Make sure you have a comfortable seat on your bike...

Beautiful views of the lake and surrounding Mts

Nice scenic trail overlooking Lake Mead. Flat and easy terrain. I saw people with jogging strollers going up the trail just fine. A few mountain bikers as well.

So close to town and so picturesque.
Even if pushed for time, do check out the Visitors Center and do try one of the short walks. You'll get a whole new appreciation for the desert. Calico Tanks or Lost Creek - Children's Discovery are two great short hikes.

this Trail is nice if your bike riding or just want to get a good workout, however for me because I like to really look at the sights and have beautiful scenery this is kind of bland as far as that goes. The mountains are beautiful of course but because of his desert area it's basically just dry with no trees and that sort of thing so it's just not my taste.

I’m from the desert so I get a dry arid trail. But this trail is seriously blaaaah. Not worth it.

My 3 year old daughter enjoyed herself and climbing on some of the hills next to the trail. The tunnels are definitely cool enough to make it worth while.

Awesome vistas at every turn. Best ride ever!

It is closed at the third tunnel but you still get a great walk. Definitely dog friendly. It is a little over 3 miles from parking lot to the third tunnel and back with great views of Lake Mead and surrounding rocks. Easy hike in and out with little elevation changes to the third tunnel.

My dog and I enjoyed the hike. There are designated picnic areas where we spent much of the day and weren't bothered. Good area. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because of how busy the trail and surrounding park are.

This is my winter home, and I love this area. Not a gambler but I love the amazing places to eat nearby, but mostly I am grateful to have this trail and the River Mountains to run on and around. This was the top of my list for places to retire after 30 years of military service. Being a runner, the paved trails are amazing, and and access to the single track for trail running are amazing! It's never busy on the paved trail, and in two years I have only come across one other hiker/trail runner. Friendly people who enjoy the outdoors just minutes away from the chaos of Las Vegas.

Picturesque drive not far outside of Las Vegas. Lots of stops along the way to hike around.

Great place to snowshoe right in Stateline. Trail leads you through a beautiful meadow and forest & ends beach front on the Lake, however it’s a nasty cesspool of dog crap. I can believe theres so many irresponsible dog owners in one place.

This trail is a must! The last two tunnels were closed when I got there but it was still worth it! Beautiful views! Nice and shaded!!

My husband and I decided to snowshoe this trail since Eagle Lake trail in Emerald Bay was accessible due to road closure. We both glad we did. Due to the storm, we only saw several groups on the trail. We loved it! Everything was covered in snow, it's so pretty. We had to rely on the tracks of fellow hikers and the map here to make sure we were on the right track. When we reached Nevada Beach, of course all we can see was gray due to heavy snow. Despite that, we will still snowshoe here again especially when the sun is out.

1st time traveling with a 4 legged friend it’s a great easy trail definitely doing this trail again

Trail is closed at the 3rd tunnel for maintenance so we missed out on the 2nd half of the trail.

Really easy, paved trail. Really pretty view of the mountains!

2/2/19 Trail closed at the 3rd tunnel due the structural issues. Spur trail from parking lot not marked. Still a nice hike to 3rd tunnel.

Only one downside to this trail & it is how crowded it is! -1 star. Besides that, this trail has a lot of side trails to it and can be turned into a longer loop around the mountain if desired! Easy to follow, a little bit of loose rock to walk on, but the views up top are pretty neat! I fell in love with the viewing section / tables you can actually sit and enjoy up at the top, lots of facts and history to read about on plaques up there. A hike & history lesson all in one!

It was an easy, flat trail that had a beautiful over-look of Lake Mead. The tunnels were impressive as well. The 3rd tunnel was closed and we decided not to try and go around the fence (like some other hikers suggested). Definitely a great walking trail. I would like to return to jog it as well. Brought my dog along and saw dogs on the trail.

This is a nice trail in town that goes down to the beach. The problem is it is very trafficked. If you can go at an off time, we recommend doing that.

People friendly, dog friendly, easy to access beautiful short and long trails. Plenty of amazing rock climbers to watch.

Tunnel 3 is closed, but a pretty hike nonetheless.

Good trail to run. A little sneaky in elevation for a guy from Ohio. Started from the sports complex. But enjoyed while on my work trip.

nice sunrise this morning!

Concrete pavement the whole way, trail culverts under Town Center Drive and Pavilion Center Drive. Nice walk in the middle of Summerlin!
