Nice loop. The dry fall was beautiful. The spring had more flow then I would have expected this late in the year. Overall a nice chill hike.

We enjoyed this hike very much. Started at the main road and parked in the little lot there hiking to the white dome hiking trail and back. It ended up being 10.88 miles round trip. Rough terrain in some areas. We saw two desert big horn sheep which was a real treat! The white dome trail has an area of shade in between two massive rock cliffs that allowed us to have our half way snack break in the shade w a cool breeze. Sun screen and water carried in is a must for this hike! Boy Scouts marked the trail with white poles w yellow tape at top. Easy enough to navigate, but you have to be looking for them.

I recommend timing to finish this hike no later than 8-9am in the summer months. Direct sunlight 90% of the trail so bring hats, sunscreen, water! Just before sunrise/just after sunset is the best time to go— better photo ops when the sun isn’t directly on the wave. Very simple & easy trail to follow though. I saw a group of 15+ bighorn sheep right along the trail which was neat!

Very easy to get to. Not that impressive in my opinion. Worth a stop if you have little ones maybe

Great park. Not to be missed if you have some extra time going to Zion from vegas

Short steep walk to a fenced in petrified log. Not really too amazing.

Great hike with unlimited types and shades of beautiful rock formations. Great little slot canyon along the path. There are many small arches along the entire trail. Every step well worth the minimal effort. Highly recommended

Nice relatively flat trek out to some interesting stripped rock formations. Entire trail is open with little or no shade and could be extremely hot during certain times of the day or year. This early morning early September walk was very pleasant

Great trails to visit during the colder months of the year. Offers everything from rock crawling to dunes and caters to any type of off-road vehicle. Beautiful rock formations and wildlife.

7AM! We had a blast entering in from the Lake Mead side of the highway and hit this site first! Nobody there yet and early enough not to be too hot. You can park right below this rock formation and take a quick hike up. The trail is marked with some fading white chalk and takes you directly up and behind for an awesome view! FYI: Signs say not to walk on the road.

Lots of Petroglyphs to see! Short trail but the sand makes it just challenging enough for someone on their first hike like me!

not much hiking. You can almost drive up to the cabins. We hiked farther up and it was pretty. Some scrambling was necessary to go farther back.

short trail easy for kids and pets. Was easy to get lost. It's right off the road.

easy short hike for kids and pets to see lots of amazing petroglyphs. The sand is hot for pets, be careful. We saw 4 big horn sheep!

Quick trip up the stairs to see some great petroglyphs. Good for adults and children.

Unfortunately it was too hot to finish the trail, but we did go about 0.3 miles in. The views are outstanding, and the scenary consistently is changing with each turn. We would love to go again on our next visit to NV.

Easy hike with a great reward at the end. Beautiful natural formation. Worth the easy hike from the road.

Easy loop hike with some decent views. Nice place if you are in Vegas and want to get outdoors.

Path definitely could use some better marking as it was difficult to find our way to the end. Bring some water as you are out in the heat with minimal to no shade

WOW!! Me fascinó hermoso lugar.

Un paseo muy hermoso me encantó.

Easy hike with lots of diversity. Slot canyon was nice and cool and a place to get relief from the sun.

We are novice hikers. The first bit is basically scrambling down rocks. You need good footwear. But once you get down, it is great. The scenery is just gorgeous. It is worth the extra climbing in the beginning. The hike back up, if you do the loop, is much more gradual. If you start at the other end of the loop. you have to go up those rocks and that does not look like fun unless you are comfortable with that. The terrain is sandy for the first bit before rocks and after the steep climb down. Then it is more stable. Excellent hike with gorgeous scenery.

Great little trail for the kids. Saw a handful of good sized lizards. Just long enough to "get a hike in", but not TOO long for little ones. We've got 5, the littlest two being 2 & 3, and they did great.

We didn’t make the the entire trail length because of time constraints. We made it a little over 3.25 miles in before turning around (parked at the south entrance). It took us about 3 hours to for the 6.5 miles, and I’m a slower hiker.
Trail was pretty clearly marked except a small patch or two when you had to scramble up or down some boulders. I enjoyed it and would like to make it the whole way. It was phenomenally gorgeous!

Amazing Experience
