Not an easy trail. If you don’t do the loops, the trail is 7 miles. It is a nice trail. Definitely gets the heart pumping.

Ah!!! This trail was awesome! The hike itself is not very difficult except for some snow/ ice patches (October), but the trees were phenomenal! You get right up in the patches of Bristlecone Pines and there's educational signs for those of us in the nerd community. Loved it!

Easy walk. A bit of rocky rubble, but worthwhile. Views are incredible all throughout. Lots of wildlife to espy.

Some bouldering. Hard to follow at times. Beautiful country and spectacular view of Las Vegas at the end.

Great hike with some cool caves

Not much to see, but an enjoyable hike if you're looking to get some exercise.

More of a Nice easy walk more than a hike. I am new to hiking and this was effortless for me. Great way to enjoy nature without needing to put in a lot of physical strength.

Good place to go just hangout and get into the water at. It’s even more fun when you bring alcohol and a few friends. But remember PICK UP AFTER YOURSELVES. This place is owned to a man who is kind enough to let everyone come onto his property for this hot spring. We wouldn’t want a few to ruin it for everyone.

This trail surprised me. Even though this time of year, all the fauna is brown. I had a really good time seeing all of the birds. a bunch of Wood ducks, a couple of Mallards, a Heron, a Red Tailed Hawk and a few Black Birds. There were prints from several Deer on the trail. I was thankful for the strong breeze that Washoe Valley is known for. Without it the bugs could have been bad even at this time of year.

Great walk with amazing views. I wouldn’t call it a hike. It’s a circular gravel path. My dog loved it. Only gave it 4 stars because you can’t really escape the street noise and a lot of the views are industrial.

A little slick at the trailhead, but pretty dry from there. A nice hike with some excellent juniper.

There are many sandstones and red rocks with various shapes along the trail. You can see the whole Las Vegas at the top.

Nice trail but difficult to maintain. Several trails branch, sending you in the wrong direction

Very scenic. Some scrambling over big rocks. At times hard to determine where the trail is but you can’t really get lost. Great view of Vegas at the end. Wear good hiking shoes for gripping the rocks.

Just moved here from South Dakota and I’m loving all the nature and trails! You forget that you live in such a big city when you get out here. So beautiful and calm. Lots of wildlife too

A very nice walk

Beautiful views of the lake! Very easy trail - even in 2 ft. of snow. Recommend for all ages and abilities.

A nice and scenic hike. Starts off with a little bit of bouldering and ends up at a 60’ rappel. So bring a rope. I️ used a 150’ of 11mm static rope and I️t worked out perfectly. After you descend you walk about 20 yards to another 15’ or so rappel to get to the hot springs. As we hiked we came across no other hikers and there was no trash or debris along the route. I️ highly recommend any beginner canyoneers or anyone looking to get their first step into the rope world try this hike out. You won’t be disappointed.

We went up to Upper Lehman Creek as the road past this point was closed. Unfortunately, my recording stopped for the actual road this is for, but I took photos and wanted to share them along the track to get the GPS points. It is nice to see in the winter, but as the road to the top is closed, it will be good to go back in the summer.

Fun hike! Ton of wildlife. Road runners, coyotes, many jack rabbits and many little critters. Beautiful views all around.

Easy. Not much to see

The idea is nice. There are grass and picnic tables. Bring a covering for the picnic table and watch where you step. There is goose poop EVERYWHERE! I read that they hose off the walkways, but when we visited a year ago, we literally had to hop around the poop. It doesn’t smell good. The peacocks and bunnies are cool though. There are a couple of ponds, but they are greenish and smelly. There is a little area for memorial for people who were murdered. It sounds weird, but that was actually a peaceful place and surprisingly not as much goose poop.

I prefer the Hole in the Wall trail to this one. The difference of making a loop out of the trail doesn't add much scenery. It does add walking past fenced backyards and barking dogs. Trail was a mix of mud and snow after the last few days of snowfall. I would expect it to dry out quickly.

I've been wanting to check this trail out for quite some time. I hiked it after several nights of snow, with melting during the day. Looked like all of the tracks from the 4X4's were headed down hill, the mud was quite slippery. They must have done some work to the road as there were no large rocks, no deep ruts. Very pretty area, minimal sounds from the highway. Hoped to see some mustangs, only saw tracks. Glad that I hiked it, I've been up rougher roads in rental cars!

Wonderful. Very windy day but was well worth the view at the end of the LV strip.

I chose this trail for my Sunday Morning walk due to the recent snow. Didn't want to chance the mud before going to work. The trail had ice in some of the shaded portions, but with all of the footsteps it was never too slippery. Only a few others out this morning, so it was fairly pleasant.

want a quick hike, this is it...the view at the top is awesome!

This is more like a short walk, not a hike. The one thing that surprised me about the tundra is if it is moist/wet, you can sink down a little in it and it's slippery, so do be careful of that. We came in the winter, so some areas of the trail were snowy or slippery. The one good thing about this walk is it is available to walk even in the winter, when most of the park is closed.

Always a lovely trail, easy to follow and straight-forward. It's still cold enough to freeze the falls, so it was a spectacular column of ice.

I have never considered any urban trail before. But I enjoyed this hike. Much better than the Fremont street jungle.
