Signs are terrible. How I got to the top was to walk towards the power lines and you will see a trail that goes to the top. Go left at the top and walk behind the business. You will see benches where the actual trail is.
There is a bathroom at the parking lot

Hiked the full trail for a total of almost 17 miles out/back. Would classify as “easy” not moderate. You’ll see a few hikers, trail runners and MTB’ers but it’s a very quiet, peaceful hike overall. When you see the Highest Trail Elevation sign, take the small trail right off to hike to a lookout over the hills. Easy to miss unless you are looking for it. To see more scenery, hike around the 601 trail.

excellent adventure. Great workout and spectacular views. Snow on the day that I went.

Most of the trail is a steady incline. The last bit gets tough but the view is wonderful. I can’t imagine hiking it in the summer when it’s 120 degrees. No shade what so ever! Hike in cool conditions only.

Trail is very rocky. Seems like the rocks were brought in. Great views the whole way

The last half mile will test you but a Breathtaking view awaits you so keep pushing.

Highly recommend. You might feel like Frodo Baggins scaling Mount Doom the last .5 miles of the ascent but it’s totally worth it. Plan on spending some time at the peak enjoying the view of Vegas.

Awesome trail! Brought a new flag up today to replace the old tattered one. The notebook in the geocaching box (5"x8" or so) needs replacing in the very near future... almost out of pages. About 2.5hrs up, and 1.5 down. The top mile is the most strenuous of all.
best view of the valley of from right here!

Awesome views, easy hike up and down but lots and lots of Little Rock’s hurt your feet a bit. Restrooms in the beginning of trail witch is awesome!

Very nice trail for cooler, sunny weather! I clearly lost the trail a few times. But it was easy to find again. Would call this moderate, not hard. Very doable little peak.

Finding parking and the trail head were not straight forward. Just before approaching the camping area there is parking for a few cars on the right where the trail kiosk is. Follow directions to the amphitheater to find the trail head. From there the trail is easy to follow along the bluffs above Las Vegas Creek. Lots of rocks- black at first then rusty brown. Nice views of the riparian valley below as well as Lake Mead in the distance.

Great trail, I live in Green Valley so I love the convenience. When you get to the top the views are great you can see forever in all directions. Good little scramble near the top going up and down other than that easy trail walking or running

Good hike for everyone and the neighborhood seems very friendly.

Super easy trail to the top. We didn't do the full loop but instead went back down the way we went up after reading previous reviews. Great view with multiple benches along the way. Gravel path can be tricky.

The trail itself is beautiful however the app takes you through no trespassing areas which caused a really grumpy old man to scream and yell at us. Talked to manager of the neighborhood hopefully they will correct with new no trespassing signs so no other young women have to get harassed by some grumpy old “former cop” to the point of crying. Hope you read this sir and know how absolutely uncomfortable you made that. When we tried to show you the app you were such a jerk. Good luck in life sir to be that miserable must be horrible

Great trail. Hard descent due to steepness and loose rocks. Great views and a good leg burner.

Good trail to run. A little sneaky in elevation for a guy from Ohio. Started from the sports complex. But enjoyed while on my work trip.

The last mile is a total bitch. But it's definitely worth it! Great views of the whole valley!

Easy trail. Rough for dog paws. Cold this time of year and likely hot in the summer. Nice view at the top.

Good hike that’s close to home. I chose a poor day to go as it was super windy so I only went a little over a mile in where I had a great view of the city. I look forward to picking a better day to complete the whole hike.

Fun and easy trail!

This was my first time on this trial and it was great. I will definitely come back to do it again. My problem is with the app. It did not correctly track my hike or path, luckily my Fitbit did that for me. I will continue to use the app to fond trials but most likely not the recording mode anymore.

Great hike all the way up, nice and challenging at the end. best part is the 360 view at the peak, incredible! cool fort and flag up there too :) happy hiking!

My 4 & 6 year did this trail. This was our first time using the app. We had great fun.

My 3 yo and I started at Shaded Canyon TH to skip the suburban portion and completed the majority of it before we turned around back to our car. It was a great winding dirt/rocky trail with varying elevation gains & different views. Great for trail running. The power lines overhead (the trails namesake) were a little unnerving as you can hear the constant buzzing of high voltage electricity overhead. Not a problem if you use earbuds. We will definitely be back.
