Love walking or biking on this trail with my family. Easy for young kids (or parents toting a child in a bike seat) to ride because it’s flat.

Really nice walk. You feel out in nature in the middle od town.

Great trail run off the beaten path.

This trail is a very well maintained and clean paved trail that is very good for running, biking, and easy relaxing walks.

Pros:
- Paved road but soft grass to the side
- Clean/Excellent upkeep
- A lot of easy to moderate elevation transitions
- A good mix of open areas and shaded areas
- A lot of rest benches

Cons:
- Paved road so there are a lot of cyclists. They tend to go fast so you really can't wear headphones/earphones while running. I just saw two cyclists zoom by while runners were forced to jump out of the way

Overall, this trail tailors more to cyclists. If you plan to run this trail, make sure to keep your headset music at a low volume so you can hear incoming cyclists.

This was a pleasant walk! My 5 year old and 9 year old along with our 3 year old Husky had a wonderful time! Everyone we encountered was very friendly. It was a very flat trail! Can't wait to take the bikes out there next time!

This is a pretty and well-maintained paved trail. It is an easy trail as well. Walking along the trail doesn't feel like hiking but it is a nice walk. The trail was busy when I went but the other walkers and bike riders were very friendly and courteous.

The trail is smooth and well maintained. Not too busy. One spot that does mud over during storms.

Easy walking trail in midtown. Quiet and not overly busy.

Nice trail to walk, has something to see all along the trail.

Not my favorite as a trail to walk my dog on. A number of the cyclists seem to act like they "own" the trail. Rarely did anyone announce themselves if they were coming up behind me to pass, and a couple of times side-by-side riders pretty much took up most of the path so I had to go to the edge and have my dog walk in the grass.

4 stars only because this trail gets a bit sketchy when going under the overpasses, but otherwise it is wonderful! I started at Hefflinger Park (the beginning/end of the trail) and rode to 72nd St, which was 14.6 miles. The trail is rather flat, with small, manageable hills. For a strong rider, this trail would be a piece of cake. I'm a new rider, and I really enjoyed the workout I got on this trail. I highly recommend it. If you can get past riding behind some shopping centers and warehouses closer to the lower numbered streets, you'll have a great ride here!

This is my fave paved lake path to run! It's a 4.4 mile loop if you stay next to the lake. There is an option to make it longer by 156th, but you'll have a huge incline if you do this. The lake loop doesn't have much incline and is easy for an average/above average runner. Check it out!

I LOVE this trail!! It's huge. I do the 5.8 mile loop, but there are options to expand the length. It's paved. There are some tough inclines but they are short and spaced out. Completely surrounds the lake. Great spot!

This trail is great. However, it's not a loop trail. You have to turn around at each end unless you want to make it a loop by biking on 144th, where there is no sidewalk. I parked, bikes to the end of the trail, turned around at 144th, and bikes back to my car. There is access to neighborhoods if you want to add distance and make your own route. This path is paved. It had inclines that are challenging for a beginner biker, but doable.

Really a beautiful man made lake with paved walking/ biking paths. Not as many trees as we'd've liked but still a nice mild walk.

Great paved path with plenty of grass on the sides for softer running. Good up and downs for a workout.

Flat, paved, and well maintained. The drawback is a lack of windbreak.

A nice paved path, some going through the woods and some around the lake. I didn't like that you had to walk on the road for a good distance to be able to complete the loop. It was a narrow shoulder and cars were going pretty fast. Next time I would choose one half to do and just go out and back.
