Paved trail with views of the lake. Lots of bikers. Mostly in the sun with some shaded sections

Good shit homie. 7 stars

Nice wide, fully paved trail for walking and biking. Restrooms and play areas are currently closed due to COVID. Moderate plus traffic on Memorial Day weekend. Saw deer more than once. Saw a bald eagle, blue heron, woodpeckers, flycatchers, orioles. Saw canoes, fishing boats and kayaks on the water.

Very good we found frogs and muskrats and birds. We also found many toads to catch. This is an easy hike, but the beauty of the wetlands makes it worth it. Waterproof boots are recommended!

It was a great Saturday morning ruck for my friends and I. Nature offered scenery that we won't forget. highly recommended!!!

Great trails, but the bridge into the march is out, so you can only access the lowlands from the Missouri Trail or the Gifford Farm road.

Good morning ride until fire blow out. Replaced quickly and within 100yds another blow out. Further investigation found the tire itself had a tear so had to run with the bike to just get a partial finish before being picked up... great morning for a rode though and not too crowded this early 0630-0730ish

I haven't been mtb riding in awhile especially I'm not from here. The trails are nice not harsh. Good just to get out and ride. Nice to see wildlife while riding and taking a break. I would definitely ride there again! Bugs weren't to bad.

Nice.

I've taken about half of this trail, skipping the portion that goes through the campground. It's not the most exciting of trails and there's a lot of horse poop on the trails so that can be a pain.

Good trail. More for bicycles.

I've hiked every trail in Fontanelle, so I'm not going to review each one, but it remains a great place within the city to escape the city. There are numerous miles of trails to explore and the boardwalk is fun. Great place for kids.

Fully paved and well maintained trial around the lake. Forested areas and prairie. Usually busy. Lots of dogs and polite bikers who always alert you if they are passing. Lots of deer, rabbits, squirrels, and turkey to see. We love to catch frogs and fuzzy caterpillars as well. Easy to access. Lots of parking. Hilly but not difficult. Fishing areas. Benches to sit every 100 feet(ish) so if you have some physical difficulty this trail is great to take little steps towards progress. Great place for sledding in the winter. There is also a dirt trail for off leash dogs and lots of short well walked dirt trails of the main trails if you like to bushwhack. Theres a few small kids playgrounds. Sounds of the freeway are prevalent:( You can access from highway 370 or Giles road. There is land bridge down the middle of the lake if you want to do a half loop. There are a few bathrooms and drinking fountains along the way. You can rent bikes at the Giles entrance. About half the trail is shaded during the summer. Boating, kayaking, paddle boarding (bring your own).

No more flooding problems. This spring many Turkey's and much harder to see deer throughout the trails. Well worth the annual fee. Nature's gym.

Good size trail. There’s what a lot more than I hiked...I’d say twice the size. Great scenery, with a difficulty level of moderate.

Bridge is out about 3 miles in. Can’t connect without using Jamaica North trail

Crowded due to coronavirus, everyone seems to be on this trail. It’s narrow and kind of rough for road bikes.

Best legit mountain biking trail in Omaha! Tree roots are prevalent in areas, some fun natural jumps and some unshaded areas. Overall great experience in nature with great views of Omaha.
