This is not a hiking trail, very beautiful drive to location. Be careful not to get any of the water up your nose (brain eating amoeba's live in this enviroment). The water is very hot but seemed comfortable in 70 degree weather. Super cool, will def do again, maybe in winter next time.

The drive is great. I’d agree that most anyone in any care can make it to the first parking lot and then do the short hike to the rocks. However there were a two rockier/rutted areas that would require proper wheel placement to get through prior to the lot. The road from the first parking lot to the rocks is rough and rocky, but any higher clearance vehicle can do it. I’d say it was a 2 out of ten on the off-road scale. The rest of the road is 0-1.

This isn’t a hike; however, it’s a nice place to drive up to and dip into a natural hot springs. It’s well known at this point though, so you’re likely going to be sharing the small space with others.

Very hot, we stopped to check it out over memorial weekend, didn’t have anything we could have used to add the cool river water in to even the temp out. Pretty dive out there though.

The pool is very hot! We brought bucks to scoop river water into the pool. Perfect time of year to go.

Rocky trail that's very short. The ringing rocks are cool but other than that it's a pretty basic hike.

Parked about halfway up the trail and did a 3.5-mile round trip. It was really warm for February so snow was melting, making it a little muddy on the way back. Views are amazing, rocks are cool, and there are a bunch of other trails that intersect that I’d be interested in exploring another time.

Been here several times, The aomebas are getting out of hand Be Warned... Im developing acute rheumatism from what I expect is Fowleri ... or another prick ass parasite... And the Government is recording this location.

Easy to find and lovely pools!

Beautiful spot, some pools where too hot and water levels where very low, but still had an enjoyable time. Will definitely be back!

Lovely area. Water levels were too low at the end of July to really enjoy. There were pools to enjoy, but most scalding hot as not enough cool water to join the hot. But it was worth the visit.

This is one of my favorite spots. It’s just a little hole in the ground hotsprings right next to the Jefferson river. It’s beautiful there. There were actually fireflies when I went once in May.

Drove to about 200 yards from the rocks, then walked. Pretty interesting. Would be a great place to take young kids.

HEADS UP! Went to Renova yesterday and it was entirely flooded. A local told us there's a 40 year flood which has resulted in high water levels and tons of mosquitoes too. However, if you're in the area, the drive down to the river is beautiful in itself. We even saw a young moose staring at us from about 20 yards away!

This is such an amazing place, and my kids loved it! All of us enjoyed playing music with the hammers we brought as well as the iron tools that are available for use at the rocks. We were able to drive the entire road, except for .5 miles in our minivan. We drove slow, and thankfully the roads were dry. Since the roads are dirt, it would be quite muddy and impassable in our vehicle if they were wet. It was a must to keep our all trails directions up. about .5 miles out, there is a dirt parking area. From there, the road has huge pot holes and large rocks throughout. We just hiked on up the mountain. Gorgeous views from the trail!

Took off hiking at the Four Corners area on a road & had a great time. Got a little turned around & eventually found the rocks by “bushwhacking” up the mtn. Very interesting!!

A little too easy for my Wrangler, but challenging in a Subaru. Love going to the Ringing Rocks though, spend almost every weekend there!

Best to visit in fall when the leaves change and the air is turning cold. Not usually overly populated but is only one official rock walled spring so it might not be the best choice if you don't want to soak in close quarters with strangers. If you are lucky enough to get it to yourself it is quite a serene experience. Not a public pool like some "hot springs". Just a spring on the side of the mountain.

Nice little hot springs if it's near your destination. Nothing to go too far out of your way for. You can drive right up to them. Pool gets pretty hot, there was a bucket to add cool water, but that seems to have disappeared. Smells like sulfur, but not bad enough to send you running. It is a beautiful drive down a dirt/gravel road. There is also a firepit nearby so you can build a campfire.
