Great trail - not rocky. It’s mostly in tree, even at the top, so views are minimal. The loop is probably 9-10 miles - we only started recording after coming down from the top.

Beautiful day! This is a great hike for wild flowers and seeing the mountain side. We brought our dog because this site states dog allowed, but there is a sign that clearly states no dogs all year round. Which was a bummer! I would still recommend this hike for its beauty and I felt like I got a workout in.

Mountain bikingGreat!

Beautiful views , so quiet on top. Mountain flowers are blooming. Trail is in great condition. (Thank you to trail maintainers). I went clockwise around the loop, and that seems like the better way to go for me. There were lots of switchbacks on the climb up after crossing the street. The descent was steeper, and pretty fast. Took about one hour to climb to the top

We went on a Friday morning. Smooth trail, well maintained, great conditions. TH lot was busy but we saw only 3 people on the ride. Will do it again. FYI: I recorded 6.2 miles but that counted a bunch of times of me doubling back to meet my partner. 5.2 miles is accurate for the loop I recorded, without the doubling back.

perfect hike. short enough that it doesn't take up the whole day. there are some steeper parts that give your lungs a workout.

A great spot to get a good ride in after work! There's really only one direction this trail flows if you want to do the full loop, and that's to ascend through the meadow and up the relatively wider trail into the trees. If you want to come down that side, it's an out-and-back scenario. Granted it would be a super fun descent, I just haven't done it yet; I prefer loops to backtracking. Trying to start up the first track you encounter puts you on a fantastic single-track. While a nice uphill hike, on a bike it would be more difficult than need be. You can drive up to the gate at the bottom of the Gulch and start up from there for a longer trek back into the mountains. I parked down at the main lot and rode up the paved road, did this trail, then followed the track through the woods along the road back down to the parking lot. Only took an hour from exiting car to re-entering, and I'm not super fast, especially the uphill part of this trail!

Nothing spectacular but pretty flowers and trees along the way. A lot of bees out when we hiked this last weekend, probably due to the flowers.

This is a great trail. At the top we took a left and cane down a steeper route that was beautiful and in a clearing with fantastic views. Is a great single track for mountain biking

Did this one today, no snow at all and trail was DRY! I was in shock and probably tried to do it too fast. Years ago, I ran this loop, thinking it was only 6 miles, well, now that I'm out of shape the distance was a jaunt.

Some parts of the trail dogs are not allowed. The trail heads are also kind of confusing with the outline trail in the app. There is a old kind of washed out cabin and other structures not far from the trail that is a neat thing to look at. Good scenery. There are shaded areas and sunny areas. Parts of the trail would be great on a bike.

Awesome hike! Towards the top of the loop there was a bit of snow still, yak tracks may be helpful, but we did it with just boots and were totally fine! A few trees had fallen across the path but were not hard to get around. Overall awesome adventure!
