2.5 rating. Sad for us, it snowed yesterday and was incredibly foggy. We could only see feet in front of us the whole time. Saw deer and goat tracks in the snow. We hiked for over 2 hrs and still didn’t get to the part where the switchbacks stop. There are 93 switchbacks. They are steep and the path gets very narrow and rocky at some points. Because of the snow and cold temps the trail was slick and we slipped a fair bit. I am sure that this trail is stunning on a clear spring or summer day, but it was quite near torture. We hiked Scenic Point trail (rated strenuous) just a couple of days ago in glacier national park and it was not as difficult even with the high winds we experienced up near the top of scenic
Point. This should at least be rated hard.
