Awesome trail. Beautiful wildflowers. Turned around because of an incoming T-Storm.

Great easy trail meandering up to a fantastic overview of Blodgett Creek. Wild flowers were at their best.

A great hike. My watched clocked 1.4 miles to the top. The views from the top are beautiful. You can see all of Blodgett with huge mountains in the background. I would rate it as a moderate hike. I would recommend hiking in the morning because there is not a lot of shade. My dogs did great. Pack water for your dogs if you bring them. There are also a couple benches on the way up.

Nice day hike! Lake is still frozen and some snow but still beautiful! Steady incline for most of it but easy fun hike with or without kiddos

Great trail for everyone of all ages. The view from the top is incredible.

This was a great hike full of diverse terrain. There were quite a few waters to cross over which made it fun for the kids. The last 1.5 miles was all snow... but not icy. Although. We hike a ton and I would not consider this easy. More like moderate.

Beautiful hike. Trail is in great shape. A few wet and muddy spots but manageable. Only about 7 miles round trip to the falls. Went a little past but didn't see much different in scenery before the bushes and shrubs started getting tall and encroaching on the trail so I turned around.

Spotted a mountain lion just off the trail after the bridge.

SNOW, bring your tracks. First part of the trail is easy and wide. You will cross water at the beginning and may get your feet wet. When the trail narrows the elevation gain is a lot. There is a lot of snow from that point on. A lot of cool log bridges to cross.

Need snow shoes at around mile 3. Go early or it turns to slush. Beautiful views, some of the best in the Bitterroot and a butt kicker. I took the ridge trail up instead of the switchbacks. Gorgeous overlooks along the way from the ridge.

Amazing hike, trail disappeared into the snow about half a mile in, followed the right canyon wall and trail blazer log cuttings, tree marks the rest of the way. half a quarter mile to the lake it gets very steep, way to much snow to proceed further without risk. my dog luci came alonge and had a blast! (she loves snow)

Fun trail, with amazing views! We were skeptical about driving up to the trailhead. There is a lot of snow of the road and mud underneath. but we manage to get to the trailhead in our Subaru Outback. I wouldn't try it with a small car though with all the snow on the road 04/04/2020

hiked this today with 4 adults and 5 kids ages 5 to 11. easy and short hike with incredible views. we did lose the trail for a bit due to the snow but found it and kept on. quite a bit of deep snow on the final half mile to the top but we managed. beautiful huge rocks at the top with spectacular views!

For all you eager beavers looking for some spring hiking might not want to start on this trail. Did the trail on 3/17/2020. We made the mistake of not bringing snowshoes or skinning up and ended up hiking in shin deep snow 3-4 miles up the mountain and essentially just following some ski tracks. We were probably 3 miles off from summiting when we decided to turn around. On the plus side the views from 4 miles up along the rocky ridge were spectacular!! Will definitely be coming back in the summer, beautiful hike!

Pretty easy hike. A little elevation gain at the beginning but still a fun, easy hike. The road was slick but manageable. Very pretty view from the top!

Awesome hike with a great view! The first time I hiked here I had no idea how fantastic the scenery would be. It's a quick hike compared to hiking down in the canyon. Although both are amazing, this is a great one to see the size of Blodgett.
