Nice trail close to the city.

This was a surprisingly enjoyable trail. Great variety of scenery and history. I would call the route closer to easy than moderate but that may feel different on a warmer day (we were at 60° & sunny). Will go back.

This was a good trail!

Was worried I wouldn't find the unpaved portion, but if you stay on the paved path, you ultimately hit the trailhead. The path beyond the cave didn't seem real clear, but alas... lots of opportunity to get lost on the various loops. Can't wait to come back.

Took the trail entrance by the drain (past the cave, before the bridge from the lower parking lot). Got delightfully lost on the “inner loop.” Looking forward to giving it another try.

A muddy hike, but we'll worth it. a great trail.

Great workout on the short 1/2 mile trail. The hills are definitely a thigh burner. Beautiful trail!

most of this trail was flooded so i didnt get the full experience. did the small .4 loop and that was nice. looking forward to coming back when the water goes down and the trail is clear.

Pretty and paved trail. Two of the three trails had great inclines. All of the trails were pretty though!

good flat paved trail for walking and biking but if you're looking for a scenery there's not much of it other than the horses near Grant's Farm.

We left out of Lone Elk Park and much of this part of the trail is washed out from some of the recent flooding. Wait until the water goes down!

My wife and I had a blessed day here. We did the 4 miles loop and watched the sunset. We managed to escape the incoming thunder storm.

Great trail to start the hiking season off! Not a long hike, and not really difficult, but the overall rise will get your heart beating! Plenty of wildlife to see and enjoy. We had to divert from the trail because a huge elk, had decided to relax on it (see pic). Never got to see any buffalo, unfortunately.
