Best scenery on entire Katy trail.

Beautiful ride... the scenery was breath taking. The trail was so well taken care of. All the people I met were so friendly. It's just a fun day and I can't wait to get back in the fall to see all the fall colors.

Good. Went in at Hartsburg for a little walk and picnic. Nice people on the trails just really flat so it gets monotonous.

This is a great biking part of the Katy trail, there are stops you can take and sights to look at, not an intense biking but beautiful

Ran the trail from Boonville trailhead to mile 194. Steady two and a half miles for a gentle 200 foot climb. On the way back was able to pick up the pace coming back down. Trail includes the Missouri River, Boonville Train Depot, and miles of wooded trail. Crushes limestone surface of the trail was very even and not difficult at all. In Boonville path has short segments of brick, concrete, and blacktop surface. Great spot for an easy trail run.

One of my favorite sections. Only second to the Boonville to Rochport.

If you go to this trail make sure to bring your bike with you. Rocheport used to have a bike rental store but that is no longer in business. The prettiest view is by far the first one you see with the bridge and the tunnel. Apart from that, climbing up the hill with the tunnel also has some good views but that's mostly it. This trailhead is settled in a quaint town that may be fun to have a luncheon or view antiques at.

This is a great biking trail. The path is nice and wide and the scenery has a lot of variety to it. It's a favorite for many locals to walk their dogs, bike, or jog. It is well maintained and has quite a bit to offer. Check this one out!

This is a flat trail that runs along the Missouri River. It gets a lot of use (bikes & dogs). I walk the 20-mile round trip segment from Jefferson City to Hartsburg and back as training for more strenuous hikes out west. It helps my feet adapt to longer, more intense trips. You can't camp along the trail, so it's a dayhiking trail only.

Beautiful, picturesque trail running along the Missouri River, many places with soaring cliffs on one side of the trail and the river on the other. I often ride here, but am starting to stick to weekdays because it is becoming more and more popular and gets busy on the weekends. There isn't anything challenging about this trail. Pea gravel surface and flat. I'm not sure where someone came up with an 801' elevation gain.

I like the website below for complete info about the trail, rather than the "official" state park site.
