Ivory, Missouri Map

This trail starts with a very nice parking lot with clean, nice bathrooms. There is a very well done Memorial also close to parking lot. The bridge takes you right down to the river and it has wide paved trail. The views of the tankers passing by is really pretty cool. The trail is all paved or has cobblestones. There is a longer trail that continues through the park which I seen several deer at.
I really enjoyed it! I will definitely be back!

Nice easy level

Love it and you can watch the deer on one side trail and river with boats and barges on other side of trail.

This is a very easy paved flat trail that runs along the Mississippi River from Jefferson Barracks Park, passes next to the River City casino and currently ends at River Des Peres. You can easily add more to your walk if you head over to Jefferson Barracks Park - there is a nice trail over there as well. In the future the Mississippi Greenway trail is supposed to connect to the new trail coming up from Cliff Cave County Park. Plenty of parking is available right next to this trail.

This is a easy to find great trail. I would have given it a 5, but there are barges and tugs that line the river and the fumes were terrible today. We will be back!!

It's so so. Probably nice to do if you are in the area and want to see Jefferson Barracks which is super cool. Other than that I wouldn't necessarily go if you're not in the area and not going to see the Barracks.

The Mississippi River Greenway at Jefferson Barracks Park is a popular, fairly flat 1.35 mile (2.7 mile round trip) out and back trail along the Mississippi River. Mainly asphalt but also includes brick pavement and concrete bridges at the start. This popular trail is shared by young and old walking, jogging, running, biking, strollers and wheelchairs. It starts at the north end of Jefferson Barracks County Park and travels behind Notre Dame High School and River City Casino before ending at River des Peres.
