It was a really nice hike. Definitely got better when we went off the main path and up and around and back around I would definitely recommend doing that but then continuing on to a different part that’s not on the main hike. There were a good amount of bikers which I didn’t like at all

Have done this trail a number of times. It’s a fun one. Narrow path, inclines, rocky, and awesome!

Crowded but lovely - wished for a few more trail markings, way less muddy than I expected after all the rain we had this week!

Another great morning on the trail!

Average Missouri trail, barely any elevation gain and no long downhill parts. The trail was made for XC because the germs and jumps have absolutely no flow to them like you have to bust your balls to be able to hit some jumps and that’s not how it’s supposed to be. Tbh it’s the best trail in the stl area but still shitty.

loved the variety of landscape: river, clear creeks, marsh, forest, bluffs, and prairie. muddy at parts, but to be expected.

Great trail - nice work out. Uneven trail - not suitable for little kids. Good for beginner hikers to learn hiking. Enjoy the trails!!

Muddy in parts but very pretty. Brought my dog and we had to get out of the way for a number of bikers, but that’s to be expected. Really enjoyed it!

Lots of traffic on the trail today between hikers and mountain bikes.

This was a unique trail with lots of bikers. Everyone was kind and let you know they were coming so you could step off the trail. It is extremely muddy, boots are a must! And we saw about 3 snakes. It zigzags back and forth a lot so not the best for a variety of views.

Beautiful trail, great views. did it with a 6 year old and 4 year old. Some parts were pretty steep. Most of it was pretty well paved.

Easy to walk gravel trail, a bit muddy by the creek bed but the kids didn't mind! Good hike for young kids but I did have to carry the three year old for the last stretch along the road. There is also a short loop that we did not take. It is on the map.

Really pretty and peaceful. Not too much traffic. The old quarry leaves behind some interesting artifacts go look at. The trail itself wasn’t too muddy in most places even after some heavy rain. Loved it.

Super fun in the pouring rain. Part of the trail was washed out, which made it even more fun:)

Love this loop, I’ve done it many times. Very pretty and the the “Short Loop” option gives you ways to mix up the hikes if you go frequently. Short loop is a steep drop/climb depending on your direction. Trail is well marked and usually dries out quickly after big rains.

Great trail for kids! Tons of beautiful views. The trail is all shaded which makes it perfect for summer hiking.

This is my new favorite trail. It was clear the whole way through. The path is gravel, not to much incline. But will still get your blood pumping!

Nice inclines, regardless of which direction you take. Beautiful day & beautiful trail! Saw about 8-10 other groups on a Monday afternoon.

Beautiful!

Just completed 13.2 miles on this trail. started on the Green Rock Trail and took the connector Eagle Valley Trail to what I believe was Greensfelder equestrian park. Approximately 2,080 feet of elevation. At the turn around point a much needed bathroom was found. Beautiful trail with many large hills for elevation training. Several creek crossings which were nice. Not a lot of people out but everyone is very respectful. Seen a few bikes and horses towards Greensfelder but they always moved to the side. Due to a large amount of rain the day before I was guessing it would be muddy but found very little wet spots which was great. Best trail for training so far that I have found in the area. Shoes were the Speedgoat 4 and they held up great for this trail.
