Had a great time hiking this trail. Good mix of scenery and incline to keep it fun and challenging. We took the trail to the right of the overlook to get back to the parking lot. I would recommend sticking to the main trail as the side trail was very overgrown in spots and ended up picking ticks off my dog for a few hours after.

We took the red trail which was fun with some crossing back and forth over a small stream which was fun for the kids. Some tricky sections going down (or up) hill due to the recent rain and lots of mud. Our 6 and 8 year olds managed it, although did come back covered in mud. A shortcut option if the going is too tough for little ones. Restrooms were open and clean.

so much incredible nature!!! definitely recommend trail shoes and pants for this one, you’ll be rubbing up against plants all day! great hike to get away from the crowds—didn’t run into a single person on the trail. and there’s a great creek to cool of in afterwards near the parking lot where you start!

very good trail with some incline

Great trail. Shady, wooded scenery, and rock formations. Packed dirt trail, occasionally muddy but trail wide enough to avoid muddy areas. Moderate hike due to some quick ascents. Enjoyable hike. We hiked early, getting in the park at 8 am. When we were leaving the park ranger had the entrance closed. We left at 1030 am.

Went to the east parking area and went counterclockwise on the Flint Quarry (green) Trail. If I could do it again, I would have hiked in the opposite direction because the path was a bit muddy and slippery coming down the hill toward the end. I didn’t do the Chubb trail loop so it was less than 3 miles. There wasn’t signage marking the Chubb Trail from the east parking lot so it was confusing. Upon finishing the Flint trail I spotted a connector trail to the Chubb trail that wasn’t visible where we started on the Flint trail. Next time I will park at the upper (west) lot and catch the Chubb trail going clockwise, and catch the Flint Quarry loop. This was a pleasant hike despite the slippery ending. The trail surface is packed mud and shady so it can be muddy several days after rain. Lots of trail runners seen today, all of which were smarter about running the trail clockwise. To walk just the Flint Quarry Trail clockwise, skip the first green trail sign and keep walking for about 25 yards and you’ll see the other loop entrance.

Love the differing elevations and scenery of this trail. Was a bit unkept in some areas, but all part of the experience. Some great views at key locations along the trails!

Awesome trail with some exploring that can be done if you follow the red markers it leads you to a beautiful grotto. Only two short areas that may be tough for some as it’s a decent incline/elevation change.

Wow. I’ve hiked 6 or so mountains in my life and regularly do 10 mile hikes, but am admittedly out of shape. This one damn near beat me. I was so exhausted by the end that I could hardly walk. If you want a workout, I cannot think of a better one. But if you hike for those rare and beautiful moments where you top a ridge and are treated with a stunning view, skip this one. 14 miles in the woods and what use see is the woods.

Frustrating 4-mile hike w/little to no marked trails. No idea where you are, which way to turn, how far to go, or how to return to the parking lot. Saw one “overlook” that wasn’t particularly memorable. Did appreciate the clean Portapotty. Think for me this is one trail that’s a 1 & done.

Nice, secluded trail. Some serious hills in a deep forest setting. Muddy today.

This trail has a lot of variety and is very beautiful. It has fields of wildflowers, tall cedar trees, and lots of water. There were a lot of water crossings, but none of them were deep. In the beginning it’s not marked very well and I had to rely on the app to get to the loops, but actually the further you go the easier it is to navigate. Right now it’s kind of muddy, but with proper footwear that’s a non issue.

The sights on this trail are beautiful! I loved having several creeks available for the dogs to drink from. And there were no other people there, which was nice. There are some challenging, steep hills, and several terrain types (paved, gravel, natural earth, and grass), so wear your good hiking shoes!

Great rainy day hike with great waterfalls (2) and no other hikers seen at all.

Great trail... a variety of scenery & terrain...small waterfalls is very nice; shaded along most part of the main trail. Side trail around the lake is slightly overgrown but manageable. Overall, highly recommend.

Great trail with moderately challenging inclines, a couple water features, changes in scenery, not overcrowded on a Saturday morning, the overlooks are gorgeous. A few muddy spots but mostly gravel/paved.

Very nice trail with overlook, water falls, pond, and wildflowers. Easy to moderate so good for families.

Really great trail - a little busier than we expected, we got the last parking spot in the lot. It’s not at all a difficult hike but there is a long incline to get to the top which is WORTH it! Don’t skip the overlook! There’s a really great waterfall if you take the right at the fork and if you keep following it all the way up then you get to the overlook. On the way there is also a pond which has a rough trail all the way around it we enjoyed taking on our way down. Worth the drive from the city but go early in the am or late in the afternoon to avoid crowds.

This is paved walking track. It was beautiful for sure but not exactly what I would call a “hike”

Very fun trail to hike. Trail is paved for the first 1/2 mile, then begins winding through the woods. Small caves and water features such as a tall waterfall can be found with a little exploring. Many small sub-trails branch off the main trail, making it even more enjoyable. Went after a few rainy days, causing certain parts to be a little muddy. Moderately trafficked for a Thursday morning. Very fun overall!

This place is odd. Half the outer loop is nature, the other half is just a big paved road with highway noises. However, there are a lot if smaller loops I've yet to explore.

Beulah plus distance to and from on various trails. Beulah is 4.3. All trails has the trail very wrong and needs to revise. Great trail. Good view on the overlook. All around solid Greensfelder trail.

lots of various scenery. great for kids. trails there for various levels of stamina

nice trail, lots of wild flowers and water views.

Hilly. Scenic. Not crowded. Don’t skip the overlook!

This four-mile hike was so much better than we expected...rolling hills, well-marked path everywhere except at the trailhead (we used the app to find the start) and beautiful. The overlook and canyon area (about 2 miles in) are well-worth the short detour off the main path. It took two hours with our new dog who wanted to sniff everything.
