Not exactly a walk through nature. trail goes through a neighborhood, along the road and past some storage facilities. did appreciate benches tho. overall not bad but I don't think it's one we will do again.

Great trail in the middle of town. This is a connector to the KATY trail. The trail is closed 1 mile down the trail to KATY. Looks like they are putting in a new bridge. They do have a detour in place with maps and signage supposed to be finished march 31,18

Good Trail. A little hard to follow. I came in June, and the wildflowers were amazing.

Great trail for walking, biking, and hiking. Connects Albert-Oakland Park with Cosmo Park. The only major obstacle is a short section on sidewalks.

I wish more of this was paved because only part is, so you cooooould take a stroller but can't cuz of the gravel. But it's nice and pretty and well maintained:)

Very cool workout trail in the middle of town. Very easy hike/walk/run/bike. Either paved or a wide gravel path. Benches and work out equipment along the way. Not much for sights tho....

Great Trail.....

The main trail is out and back. There was a side trail 'Rhett'sRun' which was fun and shaded. It is flanked by a municipal dump and a rock quarry so you can't easily make a circular route off trail.

A nice little trail to walk or to run.

I ride this trail about once a week. All the construction is done now. The section from Old 63 on is paved, otherwise it's gravel. In winter count on it being muddy, as the ground freezes a few inches deep and prevents draining.

I usually go off of the main walking trail and do an actual hiking trail. If you walk quickly, you can finish it in about 30-40min. If you park at the lot off of Grindstone, instead of going over the bridge onto the main walking trail, there is a slight path in the grass to the left before you get to the bridge. This is the hike that I enjoy most at this location. The first fork in the trail I always turn left.

Currently runs just off Providence Rd (behind Mizzou Arena) to Old 63 Hwy (about a half mile south of Stadium). The bridge near Rock Quarry Rd is under construction currently, and they are under construction to add a section to the Old 63 end that will cross under Old 63 to the Grindstone Nature Park (and beyond?). Mostly gravel, and winds through some woods and near Hinkson Creek, and contains a few bridges. Can get muddy in some areas from rainfall.

Starts in Downtown Columbia at Flat Branch Park and winds its way south to connect to the Katy Trail, linking just west of the McBaine Trailhead. A fun and flat ride that winds through grasslands, prairies, and over several bridges that cross multiple creeks. There are multiple entry points along the way, and a dog park with a pond.
