Yes, I will run it again.

Great paved trail. We had the little niece and nephews with us and they could easily walk it with us.

There was a prescribed burn in progress, so we had to modify our planned route. Half the loop is flat, in the bottoms below the bluff. The other half is on the bluff, up and down from one beautiful overlook to another. Lots of dogs and people. Beautiful trail for so close in to the city.

Nice paved trail along Table Rock Lake.

Fast, flat, and wide asphalt path that follows the edge of the lake under the canopy of shady trees. Plenty of shoot offs that lead to the lake to dip your feet or paws into afterward.

During good weather it can be rather congested with people, but great views.

Nice views as the trail stays alongside the lake.

Great paved trail. Took my five month old son and his stroller through the whole thing. The lake view is amazing too. Very easy!

We trekked this one today, the bottom running along the river was quite muddy and you found yourself doing the Fred Flintstone trying to maintain balance in several spots. Once you cross under the RR tracks and start your ascension on the staircase you find very spectacular views from the cliffs edge. Some of the trail crosses the lonewolf and white trails. Some areas rugged others moderate over all a nice trek. Only down fall was it was so busy you couldn’t find parking in some areas. You also literally had to give way to traffic in some areas on the trail due to hikers.

First time at this park and on this trail. I was there on a mild winter day, but the trail was so muddy that it was more strenuous than marked. It felt much longer than the 3.5 miles, but I did it in less than 2 hours.
There are very few blazes on this trail, but honestly, you can't get lost b/c you are following the exact perimeter of the lake. You see the water the entire time. I hiked it counter-clockwise, and as I entered the wooded trail after crossing the grassy levee, there was a large fallen tree exactly on the start of the trail, and that tree connected to a beaver dam. With the mud, it was difficult to even see the start of the trail and to access it. I hope they can clear that obstacle soon...I think it would be difficult for very young children or less-mobile hikers to do this trail.

Awesome trail that starts with a steep climb and then levels off for a great view of the river. Doubles back after descending a huge set of stairs. Just took the hike during wet weather/snow and even the river bottoms were solid enough to walk without too much mud.

A very well kept paved walking trail. Given this isn't a real hike, we made it a 4.5 mile evening walk enjoying the lake, trees, and sunset.

I enjoyed this trail with my daughter during an off season time. We didn't see many other people so that was nice considering they say it's heavily trafficked. The views were nice and the trail was easy to follow with places to take in the views.

Lots of great scenic overlooks of the Meramec River as you gain elevation. Then it levels out for a very casual walk along the banks/woods along the river, the sound of the moving water is very relaxing. Downside (for me) is that it is fairly heavily trafficked by a lot of causal users that do a lot of loud talking.

My favorite trail in STL. Great vistas and varied terrain. Biggest negative is the traffic sounds.

Nice trail along the river.

Beautiful views of the river. Impressive crinoid stems in the rocks on the bluff.

First two miles of the trails were great, but was not able to continue due to the lack of trail markers. The switch backs we were suppose to encounter were not visible from any point, and poor signage led to a bad experience.

Spent the afternoon at Watkins Mill Park. Beautiful late Fall day with temps in the upper 50’s. I brought my road bike and rode around the lake first. It’s about 4 miles and a pretty smooth ride on the asphalt trail. I then hiked the same trail on foot with a few stops to snap some pictures. This is a nice park including the lake with wild geese, a running stream and quite a bit of forest area. The beach is open in the summer, and there is a boat launch as well as picnic areas and restrooms. Spend some time to tour the old mill if you can too. Watkins Mill State Park is worth visiting many times.

Hiked this 12/9. It was lovely to walk and see the lake on a crisp day. It was completely paved though, if you don't mind that.

I prefer the off beatin paths over the asphalt trails but this is a beautiful walk along the the shores of Table Rock Lake thru the State Park.

My favorite trails in KC. Best sections are: Lakeside Speedway for rocky sections and then awesome lake views; TNT for woodbridge creek crossings and fantastic fall foilage; Happy Jack for the tree canopy. The singletrack is amazing. Asphalt a good alternative when it’s too muddy. Tons of ways to mix up trails and never do the same route twice. Dog friendly, keep them leashed though.

We saw 3 beaver dens and lots of beaver activity.

Great hike, great views! The only thing that would make this hike better is catching it at the right time of fall. The colors would be amazing. Some places can be challenging for the kids, but other than that great hike.

Awesome hike! Beautiful bluffs over Meramec River. Just enough rough terrain to get my heart rate elevated. Took my elderly dog, which I would not suggest due to the many mountain bikers.

great river great scenery

Beautiful trail with a variety of scenery and terrain. The views from from the bluffs are amazing and walking along the river you'll see some really neat trees. Watch for the RED trail markers as it can get a little confusing.

Lovely day on this 4.4 mile hike with my dog Atlas.
