so glad we found this trail was worth the walk

Well marked trail. We saw about 10+ other people while we were out there, so it's moderately trafficked in my opinion. However, the spring was very pretty and worth it.

An absolutely beautiful spring! The road from south of Alton (160) is quite curvy. The sign to the trail is very small, so don’t miss it! The trail is actually only 1 mile and the elevation change is 450 feet. The spring is clear and peaceful. We saw a bald eagle soaring above the spring today!

First two miles of the trails were great, but was not able to continue due to the lack of trail markers. The switch backs we were suppose to encounter were not visible from any point, and poor signage led to a bad experience.

nice trail, well maintained did it in November no one but us.The springs at the end were worth the trip, make sure you go down and to your left at the waters edge to see the main outlet of the water, just be careful on the rocks.

This is definitely a must see! This hike is super easy and straightforward. The beautiful blue waters of this spring are worth the walk. I took my 2 year old son with no problem! I actually hiked this one twice in one weekend so I could take my husband to see it.

We absolutely loved this trail and the beauty that awaited us at the end was spectacular! We've had a lot of rain in the Ozarks lately and the rushing waters were majestic!

One of my favorite sections of the OT!! It doesn't get a lot of foot traffic, so it maybe a little faint in areas, but a really beautiful hike! If it works out, the scenic overlook of the 11 point at the boom hole would be an awesome place to camp for a small group!!!

One of my favorite spots to hike. The water is crystal clear and feels amazing after a hot summer day.

Smooth walk from McCormack Lake dam to a bluff with a great view of the 11 point river. Nice picnic table to have a seat and relax up there as well. Only about 2 miles until the views!

Must add that the waypoint that the app shows is no where even close. The trailhead is actually south on highway 19 out of Winona. You will drive 10-15 miles until turning on the county road.

The hike is nice and easy. It is well worth it when you get to the end. The cave is simply amazing and this area has many spots to sit and read a book at the end of the trail (if you don't mind rocks as chairs).

This totally wild country! Loved it. Going back this weekend to canoe and trout fish. Very isolated with low traffic.

I loved it

Anyone visiting the Eleven Point area should consider setting aside an hour or so to make the moderate hike down to Greer Spring. Even in the dead of winter, Greer is one of the most beautiful places in all of the Ozarks. The spring pumps up over 200 million gallons of water per day, making it the second largest in the Ozarks.

beautiful. Trailhead has lots of trees across trail from ice storm but 1\4 mile in trail is clear and well marked. Winter walk has nice views of holler. Highly recommend this 1 hour walk.
