This is a great mountain biking trail but it is extremely dangerous to hike on because the trail is narrow and the mountain bikes go really fast. I do not recommend hiking on this trail. It is not worth getting hurt. Hike on the other side on the road.

Hiked this one in the fall after the leaves fell. A lot of wildlife evidence and really gorgeous views of the river.

I hike this trail often. There can be a lot of people near the main parking/lodge/river area but otherwise it is great.

This is a nice trail for running through the middle of Duluth. There are a lot of steps that get pretty slippery in the winter so make sure you wear grippy boots/shoes.

A very enjoyable walk in the woods.

This is my favorite hiking trail in Minnesota. It's consistent incline and keeps the heart rate up. I love it! In the winter make sure to wear snow shoes or spikes as it was very dangerously slippery last year.

great park to hike

Great for birding!!

Really gorgeous and rarely very busy. It’s a gem, so close to the Twin Cities.

A nice place to walk in the Twin Cities. It’s a bit more low key than Bde Maka Ska, Harriet, etc., which I like. The main downside is the air traffic.

went for a beautiful walk with a friend! the area was gorgeous and we went at the perfect time of day

Pleasant trail with many add in loops. Good for all seasons with a 2.6 mile snow shoe loop in the winter. Good for off track jogs and walks in nature.

Did this trail the second week of October 2018. Many of the trees just starting to turn color. The fall was beautiful with the multi-purpose colored trees in the background. Hike is easy.

Hiked this in the winter. The falls were mostly frozen. It was a beautiful scene. We hiked without ice cleats, but they certainly would have been helpful to have.

Great 4 mile loop around the lake

Great park and close to home. My wife and I hike here often. Usually about a 3 mile loop but I have done up to 13 mi as there are numerous loops available. Well kept trails and great for walking side by side.

I hiked this trail on Thanksgiving. Like others have said, you eventually come to a point where the bridge is out, leaving you to either cross the water. Or turn around and hike back. This is still a great area though and pretty close to the Twin Cities. I definitely recommend checking it out.

nice local trail good scenery some climbing. in oxbow park. has a cool zoo.

A lovely walk/run around the lake! Beautiful scenery with the bluffs and lake to view while you exercise.

I love this trail for running, walking, and snowshoeing. The wildlife is abundant- one snowy day I came upon an entire deer family (Buck, Doe, and 2 Fawns) sitting under the trees.

It’s one of those trails where I’ll completely forget that I’m in a city.

Great views on leisurely ride

Did this hike on 11/16/18. It was 20 degrees with roughly 4” of snow and it was snowing, a slow snow globe like snow. Beautiful! Lots of moose and deer tracks but never saw any wildlife. Trail was rocky in places but it was covered with snow. The places you had to cross over water were not frozen and the planking was covered with snow so you needed to be cautious, only slid off once. Was wearing my Sorels so I never had to worry about wet feet. The hike had a few steep areas but the view, before the actual summit was breathtaking. It looked so amazing with the trees snow covered. Pictures didn’t do justice. We were in and out in 3 and a half hours.

It was a long and little hard trail. We didn’t have any snacks to help with the hike. We got very hungry.
