Great views...beautiful fall colors and easy terrain.

Great trail. It was easy to find and well marked. Beautiful views!

Amazing hike that takes between an hour and an hour and a half depending how many pictures you take of the beautiful overlooks. Only about 2 miles off highway 61. Well worth your time!!!

Beautiful views. Easy access. Some inclines to get some work in. Takes about an hour.

Easy, well marked trail with beautiful overlooks of Lake Superior.

Beautiful overlook views on this nice wooded trail... Rocky with tree roots and uneven in spots so you have to pay attention to footing... Can’t imagine how gorgeous this would be in the fall...

I really like this hike. Fairly easy hiking, little incline, and tons of nice lookout points.

Such a great hike for all ages! It has a views, a fun rugged trail and even the 8yr old, who has a strong disdain for hiking thought it was awesome.

One of my favorite hikes, it’s best in the fall!

beautiful scenery, forest floor full of flowers. 5/22/18

Beautiful hike, lots of mushrooms in the fall. Great views!

Got in the fall at sunrise or sunset... beautiful

It was beautiful and a nice moderate walking trail. It was quite muddy on some walking trails along the way, but it was well worth it! Peaceful and quiet. Worth the view during fall season!! Must go :)

Easy, enjoyable hike with some great overlooks of North Shore fall color.

Did as a group and was a great hike for everyone. The views of Lake Superior were breathtaking!

We winter hiked this trail and loved the view of Lake Superior. Ice crampons are a must in winter months for safety.

Good trails for the views, pretty heavily travelled, maybe too much so for my tastes. Good overlooks and some steep dropoffs to get the adrenaline going. I wish it was longer!

A relaxing hike with multiple beautiful views makes this definitely worthwhile.

The Trailhead begins after traveling on gravel Onion road for a few miles. After going a short distance on the Superior Hiking Trail, a well marked junction takes you on a moderate climb to more than a half dozen amazing views in all directions as you circumnavigate the mountain. High reward for not a long hike. Several cliff drop off areas. Would definitely do this one again

For MN hiking at lower elevations this is moderate difficulty but if you are used to high elevation hiking it is easy.
