This is a nice hike. Lovely area. We did get a bit off track following these directions and ended up on a road and having to cut through a maintenance area. The paths are not all that well marked and there are many intersections. Carry a map with you.

on Battle Creek Trail

Not bad. Some steep areas up to falls over loose shale but not difficult at all. Nice views on the way up. Very crowded with tons of parent sherpas.everywhere. However it was Labor Day weekend so that definitely contributed to the crowded trails. Makes for a good short, family walk..

Well kept, easy to access, plenty of parking. I ended up just staying in the off leash dog area, which is contained by a fence and is huge.

part of the trails are not paved.

Very easy walk, mostly paved. I don’t recommend the lake loop, you end up walking alongside busy city streets and in neighborhoods.

enjoyable trail with a variety of sites (river, forest, quiet residential parks). much of it was technically closed but still accessible. it's not possible to do the entire loop due to flooding and construction.

Part of the paved trail near the river was flooded and a large tree was down over a bridge that made it impassable, but we were still able to take the trail to the hidden falls. Make sure to bring bug spray because the mosquitoes were large and plentiful. Would love to come back when things dry up a bit and really explore.

So green and beautiful...kept my map nearby to make sure I was going the right way!

Woof this was not a fun trip. We went very early and while it was nice and empty it was BUGGY AF! We literally had to leave because we had mosquitos all over. Plus it smells pretty awful in some places, and there’s trash everywhere....if you were biking it would be fine but not for me. It had very pretty, thick tree coverage so I will give it two stars for that.

Nice walk, definitely not difficult outside of the climb up the bluffs it is flat for 80% of the trail. Pretty scenic walk along the river then on top along the bluffs; didn’t see many people which made it peaceful.

lovely forested trail close to city.

so in love with this place! lots of trails off the main paved walkway. if you get tired you can always find a creek to dip your feet in

Nice trails for the ones we could get on. A lot of trails closed due to spring flooding. The Lilydale part of this ride was inaccessible due to trail closed so unable to get anywhere near the bluffs. Enough other areas to ride so still had a great ride.

More of a running trail

A good portion of this trail is in a big sloped park that overlooks the Mississippi and down town Saint Paul. The views are great, but the hill is quite a bit of work if you're in a wheel chair or if you're pushing a stroller; however, it's right next to a nice quaint neighborhood and it has a nice jungle gym foe little kids as well.

Very fun trail and I saw so many different wild animals! A family of deers and a random turkey walking the trail!

Love coming here in every season.

We spent about an hour walking this trail today and saw only 6 or 7 other people. It's a lovely oasis of woods in the city, but you do hear constant road noise.

Great little hills, easy walk.

Nice trail, somewhat an unknown gem right in the city of Roseville. Great place to walk your dog. I often see bikers there but unless you are training, I personally I would not bike here, lots of steep inclines.

Note that the Holland Lake trail access off Cliff Rd is closed until 11/30/17. Start at Visitors Center and follow sign to Holland Lake. Once you hit trail closed signs follow the loop on your left. Nice hike. Mostly quiet on a beautiful September Sunday until you get near the Visitors Center.

Trail up the Bluffs says it was closed, but lots of people walking it. I would not rate it hard either, maybe moderate. Although a lot is on sidewalks the last half, nice walk.

Very nice leisure trail system with excellent signage as there are a number of loops within loops. Trail winds around a number of lakes and ponds.

I hiked this trail because I was looking for geocaches... but I really enjoyed my hike and found myself spending an entire day here!

The whole trail is NOT wheelchair accessible. I would not recommend the east loop of this trail. I was really disappointed.
