Avon to Melrose is a nice relaxing ride. a few bumps that should be repaired. Big plus is its quite and few others to contend with.

it was a bit busy for our liking but still a wonderful time

Great trail from Cannon Falls to Red Wing! Many spots on the trail you can see the river and the surrounding bluffs. Had some open areas with lots of wild flowers to enjoy also. We even had a deer cross the trail right in front of us!! And there were many other birds and wildlife that was present too

Very nice trail for biking! Beautiful scenery, lots of trees and some open spots to view the surrounding country side. Real easy trail.

part of the trails are not paved.

Usually clean and well-maintained. Watch out for the d*** Segways.

This trail is nice and smooth. If you want some fun mountain biking, get off the paved path and cycle it out to the overlook on Upper Triangle! Fun trail and great view.

just repaved and extremely pretty.

Fun, easy, good for kids and dogs. Beautiful views of Minnehaha Falls.

Great trails with lots of diversity. Harriet is quiet and shaded. Calhoun is loud and busy. Lakes of the Isles is open and has a dog park. My favorite is Lake Harriet where I “forget” that I’m in the city.

Very very crowded. Lots of bikers, skaters, runners, walkers, and dogs. Easy access to Lake Harriet and Lake of the Isles trails. Also not far from Greenway trail.

Great trail! Paved with lots of walkers, bikers, and skaters. Fairly well lite. Some parts of the trail are in rough neighborhoods. Great commuter trail as it’s easy to access and travels through many places.

Have been walking the gateway trail for years. I usually stay on the unpaved horse trail. That way I am not worried about being run over by the bicyclists and am out of their way as well. The horse trail also leads you a little more into the woods, which I like. I love this trail best in the fall and early winter before the snow hits.

Nice paved path around the lake, perfect for a walk with the dog. The majority is tree-covered, which provides nice shade but may require bug spray depending on humidity, time of day, etc.

Beautiful boardwalk over the bog.

Started at the south end- nice shady, curvy jaunt in the woods leading into the city. Connects to other trails and loops downtown. Paved and well marked by signposts. No road crossings- the bike path goes under road bridges next to the river.

Love this trail. It's surrounded by trees and is very peaceful!

Very well maintained and very popular. There’s steady traffic on the weekends, but be sure to bring bug spray lots and lots of bug spray. There’s stagnant water through the valley.

Path is in very good shape. Reasonable traffic.

Nice flat, paved trail and shaded most of the way. I rode from Faribault to Waterville on this trail and it’s was a fun ride! Somewhat scenic with the lakes near the trail too. My goal is to ride this trail from Faribault to Mankato one way, 40 miles approximately

This is a converted rail line - rails to trails. Great for road biking, rollerblading. Flat and easy. Gets busy (for rural Minnesota!) during the summer but a great resource. The only hard thing about this is the length. Flat and paved smoothly.

I highly recommend this drive as it offers spectacular views along the way and many waysides to stop and take it all in. There are some nice eateries, too. I’ve lived near Lake Michigan all my life, and I wish we had something like this. I don’t know how much time taking this route adds instead of using another highway, but hands-down, this is the way to go.

For the area, this is a nice, leisurely trail- our favorite in Glendalough State Park. In some spots, it could be marked better and it is expectedly buggy, but the lake is beautiful and there's hardly any traffic. Deer and other wildlife are plentiful!

Very nice path, well-maintained. Only drawback is it’s very busy...

Nice easy hike. Our small dog made the whole trip from the campground up to the 5th falls with no problem. Some steep spots that were muddy and slick. The trail by the upper falls gets very close to the edge in some areas, so it can get a little scary if you're not into heights. Definitely watch your kids if you go to the upper falls! Overall a great hike!

This is a really good trail to walk or bike on. Chanhassen is a very sparsely populated area and the footfall is very low so it makes it fun
