Simple Trail, Paved just a nice walk or Jog around the lake . Can get pretty crowded and parking can get a little ruff. Overall Nice trail!

Beautiful scenery. Paved path options. The floating wood path over the water is a little weird at first, but pretty cool.

Note that the garden has limited hours and does not open until 7:30 AM. The gate was unlocked, but I guess I play by the rules. The trail itself is wonderful. Signage not so much. Kind of easy to get turned around. Lots more trails outside the actual garden.

Fun, easy, good for kids and dogs. Beautiful views of Minnehaha Falls.

Great trails with lots of diversity. Harriet is quiet and shaded. Calhoun is loud and busy. Lakes of the Isles is open and has a dog park. My favorite is Lake Harriet where I “forget” that I’m in the city.

Nice trail with some busy parts. Great for kids and dogs. Mostly walkers and runners. Can get pretty busy on the weekends. Part of the trail is a bridge that is shared by cars but the sidewalk is very spacious. Folks fish off the banks and there are a scattering of boats. I always feel safe walking this trail.

Beautiful, quiet. A nice retreat from nearby Calhoun trail. Sometimes live music. Clean paved trail with moderate amounts of tree coverage. You forget you are in the city.

Easy. Kid and dog friendly.

Great trail! Paved with lots of walkers, bikers, and skaters. Fairly well lite. Some parts of the trail are in rough neighborhoods. Great commuter trail as it’s easy to access and travels through many places.

Cute, short, right on the river and near downtown Minneapolis. Can be pretty busy. Urban.

This hike is excellent for a quick escape into nature if you live in or near Minneapolis. Took the kids 6 & 9 and they really enjoyed it. Already asked to go back and bring some friends. There is a playground with swimming beach nearby as well. Perfect for a relaxing weekend day with a picnic. Nature programs almost everyday. The visitors center had a case with monarch butterflies emerging. The kids were amazed. Lots of birds and butterflies as well as wildflowers. Nice escape from the city.

Beautiful, relaxing

This is a fun place to go viewing with friends and family members. If you go on the trail below the falls, there is a nice trail with wooden walkways over the marshy parts. The trail is quite easy, but the rolling falls and the river is beautiful for the entire hike.

Great Trail! Recommend to ware decent shoes as some area's are a bit ruff due to rain.

the trail is good, but very poorly marked. it becomes difficult to navigate around the loop

Beautiful park with easy trails. Usually overcrowded on weekends.

Flat hike with good wildlife viewing. Saw family of mallard ducks, family of Canada geese, redwinged blackbirds, egrets, a beaver, and a deer. Interesting floating boardwalk over wetland. Location is very suburban: surrounded by interstate and apartments with an airport nearby. Overall, a nice easy hike, but no quiet and solitude.

The trail is beautiful and very green. It smells very fresh and the river that goes along the trail adds a very nice aesthetic affect. There are many places to take photos. There is a park prior to the trial that is very big and offers a great place to have a picnic. All in all, very highly recommend.

Easy peasy, just avoid the crowds of the weekend and holidays. Great cross town connector.

The steps are all still blocked off, so we only walked around the upper area. It's a beautiful scene though!

Great trail for running!

Very busy, but a nice easy hike with some good views.

Pretty views, but extremely busy at times.

My kid and I loved it.

The only downside for me is how crowded it gets. Visit Father Hennepin Bluff park on the north side of the bridge.
