Nice trail. I would say it’s more moderate than easy with some inclines. But short enough to be manageable.

Easy walking trail with nice lake and forest views. You can cut it short by not going under the highway. I recommend to hike the dotted lines to extend the hike. It was nice to get out while staying at the Radisson Blu at the Mall of America.

Nice trail. Watch for the off shoots from trail to get better views of the lakes. Don’t forget the bug dope!!

Trail goes into a neighborhood and is kind of hard to follow in that area. Not a lot of lake view, but a nice walk

Enjoyable lollipop loop. Once you get to the loop portion there are some nice views to enjoy, a high up vista and access down to the water. Very buggy today. Saw a garter snake and heard a lot of wood thrushes. Follow my instagram for more adventures @julie_journeys

Nice short trail. Fun walk with kids. Waterfall is more man made. Go venture away from the falls down the trail for an interesting hike. Watch out for broken glass-there seemed to be quite a bit on the trail farther away from the falls.

These trails are very well marked now! Take a snap shot of one of the maps and follow the trails from numbered checkpoints. It was extremely easy to navigate and there are so many trail options! They did a great job. We only wish the nature center had been open. Would have loved to have visited it! It is currently closed to the public due to COVID-19. We are so thankful that the Fertile MN recreation group has maintained these trails and kept them open to the public during these times. Highly recommend a visit! :)

I just completed the hike in a little over 2 days while maintaining a fairly casual pace. 3-5 hours of hiking per day in full camping gear. The trail conditions are great with barely any wet spots. There is little signage, so I would recommend a physical map and compass. There are also some challenging areas, so make sure you’re up for some intense hiking. I would also highly recommend a mosquito net. Very buggy. There was low traffic, so all the great campsites were available. very rewarding hike!

Such a beautiful gem in the middle of Minnetonka. You could barely hear the highway. This was an awesome place to hike during the weekday. I barely saw anyone and was able to keep 6ft when passing. The trail is underwater a bit, but it’s not hard at all to continue on. Highly recommend.

Totally beautiful! The pine trees and hike were serene and the view was so worth it! Nice place for a picnic!

Paved most of the way except for a short jaunt through woods that is a less developed trail. Lots of construction happening at least until July so some of the trail is made more confusing.

Ho hum trail. Much of Trail is a paved bike path. Nothing too exciting to be seen. Although I will say, the water color of the lake and stream were incredible.

A short leisurely walk. Walking across the rocks at the headwaters or wading across the river is a pilgrimage ever Minnesotan must make at least once in their life.

There are multiple trails. You could do a long or short walk depending on what way you go. If you want to see only the falls it is a short walk. Park in the lot by the bathrooms. Stay to the right and follow the path right up to the falls. It's a nice walk. The falls are small but pretty. If you want a long walk head down to the trail by the river. I preferred the trail north of the parking lot. Going south by the boat launch was not as nice.

Nice enough lake but the marked “bike route” does not match with the red official trail, so the neighborhoods were a bit confusing

I love this walk. It is paved and has beautiful views of woods, the river and prairie. There are benches along the way to sit and enjoy views of the Mississippi River.

Very nice walking area. Multiple trails to choose from. Highway noise didn't bother me. Many people were bird watching. Small parking lot!!

This trail was newly established in May of 2020. Senic with lake and prairie views.

This trail was newly established in May 2020. A beautiful and scenic Trail.

Okay for walking but best to bring bikes

Very nice trail with lots of wildlife, especially birds. You can hear the highway but it didn’t bother me, the scenery is very serene. Great little hike.

It was a while since I got off road with my mountain Bike...i just rode 80 miles of pavement in Florida so I was jonesin' for some dirt. while this wasn't actually great for that it turned out to be a nice ride....the park itself is very nice. lots of wildlife and very peaceful... the signs are top notch and are all over...it really helps to pick what trails you want to go on....there really wasn't anything technical other than a muddy downhill ride....there was some hills for climbing, nothing crazy, but for someone like me who is not in the best shape they worked...some of the trails are on grass but they are very smooth and fairly fast for grass...it almost seemed like they rolled them. roots are almost non existent through the whole ride....I didn't start ny recording till I got into the park already ...over all I got some muddy trails that were fun, smaller climbs, single track ,double track, and paved trails...nothing crazy but if you want to go ride a nice state park I would recommend.

Amazing trail with a great view of the start of the Mississippi River.

Nice trail for a wheelchair user.

Nice trail. Noise from freeway does not hinder the peace.

There are flooded signs posted but feel free to do the hike anyway. The one small section of the trail that is underwater has a small, slightly muddy, alternative trail that is easy enough on the ankles as long as you’re wearing good shoes. Solid hike though and good view of the lake!
