Some great inclines on unpaved trails. Kids able to climb fine. There are several microclimates in the short walk... woods, sandy, prairie. Great overlook of Shakopee. Bring bug spray and sometimes rain can leave a soggy trail near the parking lot.

If you want to run into nature, here’s the place. Surprising as 1/2 of the lake is surrounded by houses. We’ve seen the usual animals but have run into eagles, turtles and even a mink. Trail is fairly quiet though some bikers go too fast with all the blind corners. Large playground off of Dell Rd and smaller one on north side in neighborhood. We use the playground as an incentive to get our kids to finish the 3+mile hike without too many complaints. Nice quiet spot for a snack at the top of a hill on a couple big rocks on the south side. Enjoy!

Did not expect to find a trail like this in this area! Great mixed terrain with some awesome (bigger) hills, beautiful woods, great prairies, and overlooks.

Good trail close to home in Eden Prairie.

Great hike. Some steep ups and downs, but you're rewarded with nice overlooks.

Great amount of elevation over a short distance. There are no overly large climbs (200' or more). Good scenery; feels secluded even though it's in the city.
Would be nice if it was longer, but multiple loops works pretty well on this one if you mix up each loop.

We really liked this trail. Lots of elevation change and beautiful views. It's not the longest trail but worth it. It's also very close to the Cities.

It's beautiful but short !!

Nice short hike with a few steep hills

We only did the short trail...Nice trail that had a good incline and nice view. Recommend bug spray and hiking boots, there are muddy spots. I look forward to going again and doing the longer trail.

My fiancé and I enjoyed scenic views of Eden Prairie along wildflower lined trails. An uphill hike mostly, but lovely in early July.

Great views! Trails could be marked a bit better in some places.

May 28, 2017. A lot of rain this spring has given birth to way too many mosquitoes. Bring you bug spay. I found it unbearable.

It was amazing. So beautiful out there today. A little muddy when you first start, but soon becomes more dry. Loved it! First time there and I will be going back!

Very steep hills at some spots but once you get to the top it's beautiful. Worth the run/hike up.

Great little trail to get a little climb (comparatively speaking for the area). There are spring fed streams running throughout that stay open during the winter, and nice views from the upper trail. Most of the people we met were walking their dogs. During the summer it would be a great place to go to picnic, as there are several tables along the way. The park is currently open daily, not April-October as listed.

This is a great hike and reminds me of a short snippet of a trail you may find on the west coast. It can be nearly vertical at times but it's short lived and it rewarded by great views of the valley or the peaceful beauty of the forest.

Live nearby and hike it several times a year. Great view of the Minnesota River Valley. A number of hills makes for a good workout. Heavily wooded areas help to cool you down in hot weather.

Nice hike through some hills with some scenic views. If you live nearby it's perfect for a quick outdoor workout.

Beautiful, quiet, and quick if you need something that will get your heart pumping for a shorter workout. I ran it, watch out though... I got sniped by a hornet that got me 3 times! If you have allergies bring your epipen or benadryl!

One of the few placs to get some elevation change along with a nice hike in TC region. Very convenient access and beautiful views. I think that in good snow conditions, some of these trails could be skiied. Any body tried this?

This was actually a really fun trail. Not
Very a lot of people use it but the dirt trails are clear of brush and the trail includes many little bridges and stairs up to an Amazing view over Minnesota. Couldn't be more pleased with this trail.

This is a great location with a fair amount of elevation and a great view overlooking the Minnesota River valley. It takes about 45 minutes to make a circuit around. I like to hike the trail in one direction, then reverse direction and go the opposite way for a nice 1 1/2 outing. There are a few extra trail segments cutting across the main loop if you want to add a bit more time.

It's a nice short hike and paths circle so you can't really get lost even though signs are a little confusing. There are both paved and unpaved paths. There are plenty of other things to do at Bryant lake besides hiking. There is a very nice but busy beach for swimming, a dock to go fishing and a disc. golf course so you could make a day of it. I am giving it a 3 because of the business of the area. I enjoy seeing nature more.
