Nice hike! Not too long, but there is a lot of up and down so you get a good workout. A couple of really beautiful views of the river valley, lots of nice wooded areas. Not too crowded. Just a few low spots that were muddy, but overall trails in good shape.

Great walking trail with lots of shade

Have lived in EP for 3 years but haven’t hiked here till today. I was actually pleasantly surprised at how pretty the views were and how amply challenging it was where you felt like you got a decent workout with many steep inclines. A little buggy in parts and muddy because of the rain this weekend. Great way to spend an afternoon with nature!

Beautiful morning, 70 and just the right amount of sun. Would recommend.

A unique trail with steep hills and amazing vantage points! We didn’t get to do the full thing, but will visit again soon. Tip : you likely will encounter soft or muddy ground. Bring shoes that you’re okay with getting a little dirty.

Paved most of the way except for a short jaunt through woods that is a less developed trail. Lots of construction happening at least until July so some of the trail is made more confusing.

A lot of uphills and downhills. Great views at the top of the hills. The only bad part is bugs.

Enjoyed the trails here. Very beautiful and the view to the river is so pretty. Love the uphill and different paths .. will for sure come back.

Great easy trail for a nice calm evening hike!

Obsessed with this entire area. I will be back here over and over. Incredible views, moderate hiking, and occasional stairs and uphill trails to make you feel the burn all the way up too! Must hike in MN I think!

Great paved trail with a few minor hills. If you start at the south entrance where the amphitheater is there is a steep hill to go down and back up. The gnats got annoying at places.

This is a cool trail for biking despite not being paved. Unfortunately, some of the best parts are closed. The southwest end due to unsafe bluff conditions, and the northeast connection segment in Hopkins due to construction. 5 stars once open.

A big hill right away, part of the trail is very sandy, part is very wet, but the new paved trail to the side helps with that. Great lookout spots!

Fairly hilly, but a nice forest bluff area and superb views of the MN river and Shakopee. Informative trail signs along the way as well.

My go-to running location. Usually crowded with families out for a stroll after work, especially with the playground on the South side of the trail. It doesn't take long in the season until small swarms of gnats are scattered along the trail. Not uncommon to hear barn owls on your adventure. Great trail that is well maintained.

Great views of the Minnesota River valley, with a couple picnic tables along the way. Was suprised to find placards with area history and wildlife information too. Some trails have minor wash outs, but nothing major. Fun little hike

Shorter trail but good moderate intensity. Beautiful views over valley. Does get really muddy in the spring.

Beautiful trail! pretty muddy in some parts, but that's to be expected this time of year

Great trail! The snow is starting to melt so it’s icy and muddy on some of the shaded and elevated parts but otherwise one of my new favorite trails!

Beautiful scenery, somewhat challenging inclines. Recommended!
