I love finding unpaved trails.

I really enjoyed this trail, great scenery and peaceful.

I don’t know if this was just a coincidence or if it happens all the time but I encountered several bikers and people with dogs that lacked common courtesy. Many bikers did not yell “on your left” or warn me in any way as they came up behind me and nearly knocked me over. Also came across two people with dogs not on a leash and the dogs came charging directly at me and my dog! Again, I don’t know if this is typical, but definitely got the impression that the people who frequent this trail think they own it and don’t have to show any respect to others who use it. Disappointing.

part of the trails are not paved.

Very easy walk, mostly paved. I don’t recommend the lake loop, you end up walking alongside busy city streets and in neighborhoods.

Started at the south end- nice shady, curvy jaunt in the woods leading into the city. Connects to other trails and loops downtown. Paved and well marked by signposts. No road crossings- the bike path goes under road bridges next to the river.

This is an amazing trail that offers a rustic hiking experience in the middle of the city. Along the way there are scenic overlooks, secluded beaches, waterfalls (well, glorified stormwater outfalls, really), and some cool old WPA-era infrastructure. There's a main path that is partially paved; there are also multiple dirt side trails if you want something more challenging or that hugs a little closer to the shoreline. It connects at various points with West River Parkway Trail, so you can make it as short or long as you want.

Open gravel trail along the water. Great for running

A good portion of this trail is in a big sloped park that overlooks the Mississippi and down town Saint Paul. The views are great, but the hill is quite a bit of work if you're in a wheel chair or if you're pushing a stroller; however, it's right next to a nice quaint neighborhood and it has a nice jungle gym foe little kids as well.

Great trail for biking, running, and walking. In the winter it’s plowed from YMCA to Weagel Park (1.75 miles from Y). From Y to the edge of Rapidan is 6 miles. Beautiful trail and paved the whole way.

Mostly paved even terrain on this loop. Picturesque row of pines.

Nice for a leisurely walk/hike. Perfect for winter hiking because it is a flat wide trail !

We spent about an hour walking this trail today and saw only 6 or 7 other people. It's a lovely oasis of woods in the city, but you do hear constant road noise.

Great little hills, easy walk.

Easy trail. Trail is 100% paved now. Based on posted pics wasn't what I expected, but still enjoyed the walk. Also this is a in and back trail not a loop

Nice trail, somewhat an unknown gem right in the city of Roseville. Great place to walk your dog. I often see bikers there but unless you are training, I personally I would not bike here, lots of steep inclines.

Had some time to burn so I tried out this trail. Never knew it was here. A great surprise. Will be back with the family. Beautiful scenery and some nice houses.

lovely shady trail..got beautiful deer photos.

Does not belong on All Trails. This is a paved walk, that can best be described as a museum to run-down parts of Anoka.

underrated Duluth trail. nobody from out east really knows it exists or uses it. nicely maintained, lots of birds if you are into bird watching, would be a fun place to run. Views of Lake Superior and the bay. Not crowded.

edit:duluth parks is planning on putting in a parking lot nearby and "cleaning up" west end. It was said they would damage much of the bird habitat...

Beautiful park but all the paths to the majority of the trail were flooded. The picnic tables by the lake are now in the lake.

nice up hill grade throughout for a good workout. Saw a hawk and several deer. birds singing. Lovely.

familly friendly trail, the children loved it, but it does not loop, I got a bit confused when the trail suddenly stopped, then realized you have to walk in the street to hey back on. Beautiful, peaceful, kid and animal friendly.

I enjoyed it.

I'm not sure why it says "loop." There is no loop. You walk down the trail and then walk back.

Also, part of the trail goes through the city, which is actually fun. But, the trail stops with no direction. You have to walk along the street (which has no path) and then get back on trail.

I liked it though. Be sure to stop at 10K Brewing on Main Street when your done hiking.
