Not paved except for crossings from Leech Rd to mile 0. Defiantly not “partially paved.

Great trail but easy to make a wrong turn

Beautiful trail, saw at least ten snakes (I lost count after ten) while walking. Also saw turtles and deer, enjoyed this trail and wasn’t as mosquito filled as I thought it would be given all the stagnant bodies of water!

We saw at least a dozen snakes today!

lots of spring flowers

The trail was nice, medium traffic, a lot of dogs and some weren't super friendly to our dog. People were nice and the trail was well maintained. We saw a lot of deer and birds, which was nice.

Very beautiful and natural scenery

Very good trail, hiked it today. However, the nicest part is from Rochester to Auburn Hills. As soon as you enter Pontiac, you enter VERY rough areas - i.e., simply sidewalks in the middle of downtown Pontiac. If you do decide to do the entire trail, bring something to protect yourself with if need be.

Trail was nice, calm, and very lightly trafficked. A little muddy so wear your boots!

Old train track route converted to a wide flat gravel path. Good for getting from point A to point B without having to deal with much vehicle traffic.

Wooded loop tucked along Clinton River Trail in West Bloomfield. Easy, peaceful path that’s never very crowded and I always see at least one deer. Gravel dirt mix in spots, typically kept up but still gets pretty muddy. Expanded parking lot a couple years (or so?) ago.

Nice easy trail with several manageable inclines.

Nice trail. Went in the winter but would come back for the fall foliage.

Perfect trail for kids. Short, easy to follow trails. Little treasures to see along the way.

Took my 6 year old daughter. She loved it.

Nice trail! I like all the curves and turns on the trail! Def not boring to walk

Very nice walk in the woods. On a hot day the canopy provided great shade. Some little hills good hour walk.

Nice walk in the woods. We’ll be back.

Very nice, easy trail. It took about an hour to walk it.

Nice, relaxing hike ( walk ) ..

Easy quick trail, neatly groomed with some stone steps and boardwalks in wetland areas. Views of Orchard and Uppwr Straights Lakes, fishing dock, picnic shelter. No dogs or bikes allowed.

A very nice quick, easy, secluded trail.

Very well kept trail, pretty scenery and I felt safe. It was an easy trail/not many hills, but great for a relaxing Sunday hike. Medium foot traffic with dogs on leashes. I look forward to going back when the trees are filled in.

Great trail as far as suburban Detroit is concerned. My wife and I have walked the West Bloomfield portion dozens of times and love it every time.

Me and my dad love to ride on the Clinton river trail. Its mostly level surface and gravel makes it a fun, and easy ride for bicyclists. If you plan on riding all of its 40 miles, then you will have to go through the city of Pontiac -the only 'bad' part of the trail. The city streets make it hard to navigate and a little rough. Overall, I enjoy this trail. Thank you Rails to Trails.

Great for biking, it also leads to some other trails that have more nature in it

beautiful little hike! easy to find parking, well marked trails with options to go further or stay close by. trail did get close to the road at one point. the sign said no lake access but there were a few spots you could walk right down to the water. would highly suggest this trail to solo hikers and families alike.
