I live down the street from the park and it's my go to when I want to get a quick fix.

Trail overall is well maintained. However, there are several low spots that like to stay wet/muddy even a few days after raining. There can be a lot of standing water in the summer so keep the bug spray handy.

Biggest drawback is the proximity to the main roads so you will often hear a lot of traffic noise. But, with a good enough breeze it will drown out most of it.

tons of mosquitoes as you get farther back towards the 7 mile area. at times there can be standing water on portions of the trail if there was a storm lately. trail is poorly marked but there are usually lots of other people on the trail too.

We took our toddler with us because hiking is easy and not too complicated with a stroller... as we got back further we started to see stickers on trees and posts. We took photographs of the stickers and where they were but removed multiple ones because we didn’t feel other children needed to see them. Horribly racist stickers were brought to the small room with a park employee, whom KNEW they were there and didn’t care. Told us that he is not responsible for the trail.
Thankfully our child was too young to understand the meaning of the stickers but others might understand what it means. Beware this is going on if you bring a child.

The trails were nice and not very muddy even though we had rain yesterday. They are terribly marked though so it is very easy to get lost...which we did, but using a map with compass app or this app we were able to find our way back. A ton of mosquitoes also, even with bug repellent we still had quite a few bites.

love the trails first heard about it that it was haunted and went to look into it talk to and officer that told me a story and came to a beautiful site of water trails we're good yes muddy but still enjoyable with kids and does need signs but as long as your having fun with the kids that's all what it's about look into the story of the park there's more then just birds out there boooooooooo

This place is amazing but needs more signs all around. One could easily get lost.

Muddy spots , but super fun with kids . Every thing is muddy in the spring anyway.

Pretty area but in desperate need of better wayfinding signage on the trails and to the trailhead.

Lovely nature trails near urban communities discovered while visiting from out of state. Great for short walks to get back to nature—beech, maple forests.

Went with my mom. Preserve is very poorly marked. Beautiful space, but not great experience.
