Dispite what is stated, if you do the extra credit lines, these are not easy trails. the EC lines are awesome fun!

Has a nice, paved surface but would not recommend for hiking, more for biking and maybe running. Was hiking from Lansing downtown to EL on this trail and it wasn’t terrible, but annoying to deal with/evade so many bikers on that trail

All trails needs to make it very clear that this trail is a cultured mountain biking loop. That means it has weird and unnecessary twists and turns which are not conducive to hiking.

This is a great paved trail-I like to use it for distance runs since it offers a lot of mileage. There's a variety of scenery as it winds through the woods, past Potter Park Zoo, and through downtown Lansing along the river. I've always felt safe running there and typically run into a light to moderate amount of bikers/walkers/runners.

We hiked Oak Ridge Trail at Fenner on a warm Winter morning. This loop is nice and quick. We walked through some trees as well as a few open spaces. It was a great way to start the day!

Tamarak Trail at Fenner Nature Center is great! This was my first time on the trail and despite the snow, the trail was easy enough that my 12 year old daughter and 7 month old puppy managed it just fine. The trail is well marked so there was no fear of getting lost. We saw some beautiful blue birds and a deer on this gorgeous winter day. Can't wait to go back!

Love love love Anderson.

The Lansing River Trail is fairly large and can lead to places all over the capital. Many parts of the trail can ice over in winter and flood in Spring, but the city is working on renovating those parts in the next year or two. Great park for walking and biking!

Awesome paved trail for hiking and biking. Takes you along the river downtown, past the Potter Park Zoo, as well as several parks in the area. One of my favorite trails to take family and friends when they visit the area. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

had fun it was a good ride. Trail wasn't very well-marked but it's not that big it's really hard to get lost.
I'm definitely go again and again

This trail is great! Lots of inclines and declines but all are easy to maneuver. Very cool part of Lansing that you would never know existed

Hidden lil gem, used mostly by mountain bikers. Has some nice views, and prevalent wildlife for being so close to Lansing.

Awesome trail close to home. Not a beginners trail really, which was great for me but could be disappointing for some. Some nice, small jumps, log piles, short rugged climbs and quick descents. I went yesterday for the first time and I'm going again today!

As a newb I went looking for an easy trail. I personally would rate this as intermediate with advanced options. Lots of sharp turns and narrow paths between trees.

Has a few log piles and some launch ramps. But most obstacles can be bypassed. I would say it is well balanced with climbing and decending. some of the jumps are at weird locations. For example coming off of a sharp turn, it didn't seem to flow well in my option. However that maybe due to my lack of skill.

I would ride again as it's near Eagle monk Brew pub, one of my favorite watering holes.

Definitely my favorite biking trail overall. It is scenic and safe.
