Terrible hiking trail, maybe better for mountain biking. $5parking fee. Poor trail marking for the hiking trails. They used flimsy temporary orange flags to try to mark trails. Few true hiking directional markers. Intrusive road noise, houses, and fences on this trail. Not a nature get away at all unless you are used to city life I guess. I won’t be back. Michigan has much better hiking.

Enchanting place. Beautifully tucked away. Worst place in terms of well marked trails. Wow. There are maps along the way, but good luck making sense of them.

This is a nice quick hike in a beautiful nature area. When I went, in early December, the north-west quadrant was rather mucky, so I was glad I had waterproof shoes. The trail is not very developed in that area. There were a lot of leaves covering the trail so sometimes it was hard to know where the trail was along the north edge of the lake. It'd probably better to use the south half of the park after a rain or snowy period.

Well marked and well maintained. Some slight elevation changes. Great short trail.

Nice, easy trail. Beautiful with all the fall leaves. Pups enjoyed it, too!

Trails are poorly marked. Easy to get lost/go in circles. They need better signposts & maps and “you are here “ signs at intersections. Would be much better with those improvements.

This was a great hike for me and my dog. It was a mountain bike path, and we did have to step out of the way a few times, but most of the trail it was just me and the dog. The trails are not well marked but this app saved me from taking a wrong turn several times. I definitely recommend this trail.

Lots of trash spewed all around the beginning trail to about mid trail. Loudness from the area train yard along the river and various other businesses. Started right at the beginning of this trail, indeed. Walked this with Collin to try and get an idea of the 3.1 Mile's (5k) needed to put forth a good walk trail in March for the homelessness with Housing Resources Inc. We shall see. very interesting

Nice elevation changes, a little overgrown, but doable. Really nice trail for a fall morning. Would definitely do again.

Easy trail. My 4 year old loves coming here because it's short and has a range of environments from woods to wetlands.

Nice easy rails-to-trails pathway. Not really road bike friendly, with gravel interspersed with paved areas, so a cyclocross or hybrid bike is fine. (There is no other selection on this app but road biking or mountain biking) I rode it on my mountain bike, but definitely don’t need to have one to ride this trail. Have ridden sections of it on the South Haven and Kalamazoo ends. Have hiked on it also and even xc skied it in winter.

Lots of interconnecting trails. Can be confusing.

There is some shad but it's not as shaded as a lot of the trails I have been on. When my son and I went, the trails where overgrown. The trail markers where nice since there were a few other side trails leading off into the woods.

the trail that was recorded was around property boundaries, more like deer run most of the time. was not prepared for muck.
