An excellent location for a walk. The lake level is very high so most of the trail is underwater. It is still possible to do a loop to the point and back.

The lake water level was pretty high and had washed out part of the trail.

Tail overgrown and washed out in many places. Lots of poison ivy.

good trail, make sure to wear long pants, hat/headgear, and some bug spray.

An awesome place during the second and third weeks of May for birding. Warblers and migrants everywhere and some nice rarities like Little Gull and large shorebirds. The trails are flat and broad and easy to follow.

No clue how the trail is as half the place allows dogs and half doesn't, the light house is great though and we saw a super cute skunk <3

Tons of Poison Ivy, stay in the tracks! and wear proper gear! Otherwise, Appropriately labeled, Easy To navigate and great for the pooches :)

Great hike with rolling wooded terrain and small hills. You can make the trail as long or short as you want. The trails are clearly marked and maintained well.

Very quiet, well maintained. Beautiful woods, mainly pine with oak and a few aspen. No wildlife for our walk. No stunning vistas, but some interesting moss and fungus.

Great well marked trail with plenty of forest. Not really any stunning views but a solid trail to hike to get away and spend time in the forest. No one else on the trails while I was out there so it was quite quiet and peaceful. I would definitely hike this trail again.

Mid July. Hiked trail just after tour of the lighthouse ( cool and interesting by the way), the trail was easy for most of it but there was one section that was so overgrown that I felt I needed a machete to get through. Some areas were washed out. The views of the lake were beautiful however. Did not see much wild life other than a few species of frogs and birds. Decent trip.

Recorded this hike as 6.23 miles. Moderate but with some challenging uphill spots. Some trees down along the trail but passable Best to keep a close eye on your blue trail markers as the trail is not overly groomed. Be sure to use your big dope and hydrate. Joyce and Tom

great birding trail :)

deer flys were insane at certain points. okay for a walk but the scenery is the same everywhere. no real picture points

Gorgeous forest. Ally will love it!

Need to make another trip out here soon; it's been ages since we've been hiking up there near Tawas Point and the lighthouse! This was where I won a couple fishing trophies as a kid and my mom sang a couple concerts here (among other places around Tawas). ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nice trails through the woods. Very quiet and peaceful since we pretty much had all trails to ourselves! You won't find spectacular views but an extensive trail system. We took the outer trails all around. That makes for about 12-13 miles of hiking.

We just hiked the rough trails down the tip. Nice trail, a bit confusing and waterlogged at times. Great views back toward the mainland. This is a nice little food stand where the pavement ends and the trail begins. The lighthouse is also a delight. Swimming a possibility; the beaches are small but more than adequate.

Lovely family spot. Many distances available for the hikers. Don't be afraid to check out Silver Valley across monument road from Corsair. Both are excellent.
