Road is closed but you can hike in on foot right now as the snow isn’t too deep, or snowshoe. Very lovely! Dog friendly.

We were here in June. Really buggy, but worth it ... paradise!

If you’re in the upper Midwest and you like to ride a bike off trail I can’t think of a better place. If you’re new to this you need to take it easy but there are trails for every size and type of biker.

Easy hike to the lake. Cool rocks to climb on and explore.

Pretty trail down to the lake. Some tree roots, but my 80 year old mother did it.

easy hike to the beach. you can see a "sandbar" straight ahead. we climbed on the rocks on the right side of the beach and found a trail that led out to that rock "sandbar" that is a moderate, maybe .75 mile hike.

Easiest with a 4 wheel drive vehicle with decent ground clearance. The trail can be challenging depending on recent rainfall (mud holes and washouts). A really cool camping spot on the point. There’s a cliff you jump off of into superior. Just be prepared because the water will most likely be cold, even in July or August.

Plan to be at the top by sunset, most beautiful sunset in Michigan! We stayed after to stargaze, and it was equally incredible.

As a hiker, the trail is challenging; many short hills and rocks. There are other trails that connect, and I became confused because the trails aren’t marked well. I ended at the highway which was not my trailhead and had to walk back uphill one mile to reach my car. As I drove away, I saw the same thing happen to a couple of bikers.

Rode this short trail down to Lake Superior. Actually a little technical, mostly cause of the rocks and Cedar roots! Had a blast and the scenery is outstanding! I LOVE MICHIGAN !!

Nice short hike for the family. Allows for up close and personal look at geological structures of the Keweenaw pennisula. Very easy path.
