Wonderful fall hike. Not much bike traffic but I did like it was clearly marked which way the trail traffic should be going depending on the day. One caution; we picked 13 ticks off our dog after our hike. I know it’s the season but we’ve never had this many before. Check your pups!

Hiked the red trail (8.6 miles) Excellent trail with some variety of scenery (swamp, lakes, forest). Only downside is that the trail is pretty narrow, so you have to stay alert for incoming mountain bikers.

Great trail. Not too hard. Lots of fun.

Today I did the yellow trail. It was fairly easy 4.4miles for me and I’m fat and old.

Nice hike, not very scenic, but good elevation changes. Moderate bicycle traffic.

The trail itself was nice, and easy to navigate BUT I wish people cleaned up the horse poop. There were massive piles everywhere - in the middle of the trail. Other than that, great! The doggos loved it and the nature was beautiful. Nice rivers, and lakes you pass by.

nice day cool breeze 84 degrees. just prince and I today.

Nice, quick trail to do when you want to get a nice walk in. Able to bring both our dogs! Lots of shade even on a hot day.

This is a great trail! It is primarily for mountain bikers, but stick with the recommendation of hiking the opposite way of bike traffic and you'll be good. It's an extremely well maintained trail, clearly marked and a very nice hike. Definitely going again.

Excellent trail. Immaculately maintained. One section difficult to follow via GPS, but trails well marked. Will have to share with bike riders depending on day and trail chosen. Be prepared for a vicious horde of blood suckers following you the entire trail. Mosquitoes were numerous and hungry!

Great hiking!

Nice flat ride around the camp. Paved roads and some gravel road. Nice views of Lake. Easy riding not crowded.

Again we are battling mosquitoes so we’re trying to stay on the wider trails. This was a nice walk very flat and with few good views of the lakes and some open meadow areas. We spotted a couple very adult deer.

This is got to be a well-kept secret for mountain bikers. Unlimited amounts of combinations of trails. Not too steep so you can go fast all the time. Lots and lots of single track through Forrest’s. Only one issue and the only reason I gave it to three is because of the bloody mosquitoes. It’s the end of May right now 2019. There are more than 2019 mosquitoes in our campground

This family-friendly, easy-going trail is a great introduction to silviculture. Not only is the Kellogg Forest enchanting there are beautiful birds, trees from across the globe, and interesting highlights from MSU researchers.

Biked it yesterday. Great trail! I grew up riding these trails every weekend during middle/high school. Defiantly a lot has changed over the years. Now depending on the day, you have to ride in a certain direction. It was a change of pace because i actually rode it backwards to the way I used to. It did make it complicated because the trail is beat down going the other way, but still a fun ride. Glad to get back into it.

The equestrian trail is great for all ages. Wide easy to navigate trails. There were a few spots where the trail gets hard to see due to fallen leaves, but it’s less than 50. The bike trails in the northeast area are a bit more rugged, but still relatively navigable. Went in late March and only saw 10 people in 14 miles. Highly recommend!

Enjoyable winter hike that was relatively easy. The trail is well marked. There was heavy bike traffic so would recommend hiking opposite direction as indicated on trail markers per day of the week. My GPS recorded 7.7 miles.

Pretty hike overall. The trail is relatively flat and easy overall. The trails are very well marked. There is some road noise and train whistles a few time during this hike. My GPS recorded nearly 8 miles around this loop, not 6.5 miles.

Nice hike,,beautiful scenery,,easy hike,,this is a horse trail also,,so beware of the horse dropping’s!!..but its easy to see and walk around,,very first hike for me and my doggie,,just getting into the sport,,was really cool that the park put Halloween stuff through out the trail..

Nice easy trail almost anyone can enjoy it.

My son and I biked this trail, has a lot of fun and difficultly level / distance perfect for 11 yr.
