I parked on Mill Road instead of the address provided. There was ample room for parking and finding the trailhead was easy. Hike was very quiet, alot of solitude. Didn't see anyone for the first hour I was out there. Kind of lost where the trail loops and gets you the turned around. Views along the water where beautiful, especially with the leafs starting to change. Enjoyed this trail.

Enjoyable and pretty easy hike. There were quite a lot of bugs in some areas (this is end of May 2018). But I will definitely be back here again.

Parking is available in a pull-off on either side of Mill Road near the boat launch. It may not be plowed in winter. It's an easy walk with the usual New England roots and rocks in places. Many people walk dogs here. It's a popular fishing area, but not good for kayaking, as there are submerged stumps everywhere. I give it four stars for lack of diversity, but it is a nice easy walk with lovely lake views along the entire trail.

A lot of unleashed big dogs nearby the lake trail. A little bit scared when big dog look at you and dog owner are just walk far away

This app has you park at Veterans Park off W Main St . This makes you pass over a field and a muddy path . I found a better starting point off Mill St . This starts you right on the reservoir . Nice place to see swans and pretty flowers . A nice place for families and beginners. Overall a nice way to spend some time

This was a super fun family hike. Great birding! We saw chickadee, song sparrow, downy woodpecker, pileated woodpecker, redwing blackbird, cedar waxwing, scarlet tanager, oriole, mallard, swan, and heard so many warblers!

We had 1 inch rain yesterday and sleet and rain today so you need waterproof boots. The walkway is washed out at the river. My dog and I got a bit wet but not over the boots. Nice walk. Clean, roots to walk over, nice view of the reservoir, easy walk. Just keep on walkin.

Beautiful land, rarely buggy except in the swampy sections near the source of the Assabet River. Great for an easy walk or walking your dog!
