The Wooded Loop Trails have been constructed on private lands through the generous cooperation of the landowner and with the assistance of the Town of Shelburne Open Space Committee. These somewhat rough, but well-marked trails meander through areas with a distant and recent history of forest management. However, some areas are undisturbed and there are two vernal ponds. This is a great place to watch forest succession take place. There are tree identification tags on the Yellow Loop trail. The Blue Ridge connector trail is perhaps too steep for cross-country skiing.
