I enjoyed walking the trail at Mount Auburn Cemetery. The landscape is beautiful, especially in the fall, and there are many different paths to travel and places to see.

Beautiful and quiet. You can easily create your own path and see different parts of the area and make your walk as long or short as you like.

Easy trail with some elevations. Nice views and fairly quiet.

gorgeous gardens and the tower view was awesome. you can park along the paved pathways inside the cemetery.

Great ride. Rockport is a bit heavy with traffic, but the rest of the ride is very nice. Great views.

This is a nice way to see the eastern part of Martha's Vineyard. Take the ferry to Vineyard Haven or Oak Bluffs to gain access to the bike path. The bike path is not continuous but covers over 80% of the route recorded. From Vineyard Haven pass through East Chop and check out the lighthouse on Telegraph Hill. Continue to Oak Bluffs then on to Edgartown (passing a good mile of beach area) where you can catch another short ferry to Chappaquiddick Island. Continue on Chappy Road east to the Trustees property at Cape Poge. This is a nice area to beach or go overland to the northern part of Cape Poge to see the Poge Lighthouse. A wonderful ride!

Absolutely beautiful with blooming trees, bushes & flowers. Meticulous landscaping and up keep. Needed this app as I get lost every time!

A nice little walk along the shoreline of Duxbury Beach Reservation. Snow Owls can sometimes be seen in the winter months. A very cool wooden bridge (0.4 miles long) gets you over to the beach. Enjoy!

Nice views of the Berkshire Mountains and foothills, as well as the Deerfield River Valley. Several overlooks and scenic places to admire the views. I’m sure it would be even better in the fall.

Parked at the Pond Street gate. Nice loop road and trail option around all four bodies of water: Brockton Reservoir, Waldo Lake, Porter Pond, and 30-Acre Pond. I did the reservoir and Waldo Lake loop today.
Started clockwise and continued across South Street to far end of Waldo Pond and the spillway. Continued back on west side back to the north and the parking area. This is a nice biking option too.

Beautiful road through islands and beaches.

Beautiful place that you can visit multiple times and find new beautiful views each time. The biggest highlight would be the lookout tower and the lakes.

I would say the best time to go is in the fall because of the foliage.

Incredibly beautiful garden cemetery with multiple trail loops. You could spend all day walking here enjoying landscaping, bunnies, birds, sculpture, history. One of my favorite things to do in Boston.

Just like the Mohawks of hundreds of years ago, this is a great passage from Boston to the New York border. Meandering along the Deerfield River is bucolic. A wonderful stop is in North Adams at Mass MoCA. And then stop in for a nosh in Williamstown and stop by the Clark Museum of Art.

As a child growing up in New England I always fall back to this area. It has beautiful sites and hiking trails. I have done the loop several times already as a kid and as an adult. It has also a lot of history behind as well. The Mohawk Trail in the early days was a trading route where pioneers traded fur for goods. A lot of other history as well. Great place to visit especially in the Fall.

This is the first scenic drive I can remember from childhood. And over the years I still love it as much as my grandparents did when they shared this beautiful ride. There is history, art, culture, shopping, tourist stuff and most of all, beautiful scenery.

This famous, classic route is beautiful at any time of year. During fall foliage, it is stunning! Literally! I've seen people get their first exposure to New England foliage along this road, and watched them stare, open-mouthed. Do not miss this route if you can get there.
