Hiked this today for the first time. I was blown away by the view at the top. It was breathtaking. Add to that the incredible amount of birds and wildflowers and you have yourself a nice little hike. The trail is well maintained, there are areas that have actually been mowed and best of all, it was well marked. In a few locations...just when you need them actually, they've placed a permanent sign with the map that has what a lot of these type signs don't have: "You are here". Loved it. I'll be back.

This is my favorite place! The Trustees of Reservations that manage Old Town Hill have done a great job of putting up map markers recently. Also the 2 map boxes are usually stocked. I'm sure it's strange for newcomer's to park and then walk all the way up the street towards the homes to pick up the best part of the trail at the crooked fence. This place has a little bit of everything from the marshes, open fields and woods. Enjoy!

It's so hard to see the trails at night

Some very beautiful views however trail was not marked well. Trails seemed to end and start up again sporadically. Very buggy.

We go here weekly with our dog. Highest point near Newburyport with views of town and Plum Island. Very peaceful. Easy half hour loop up the hill. Beautiful short walk to the river on the other side of parking.

Beautiful views along easy trails. Nice way to spend an afternoon. A few really pretty places to have a picnic and get some great photos.
Hardly a soul around and very clean.

Drive a little further down the road and you will find free parking next to a kiosk that has trail maps

Fantastic views, forest and pasture. Easy walking except for two short but steep sections leading to the hilltop.
