Very pretty, perfect for an easy medium/long walk on a nice day. Lots of turtles and birds to see! The paths closer to the visitor center (around the ponds and mill brook) are wide and clear. The paths that head further away (past the fields) are less maintained and buggy in the heat. I imagine this place is beautiful in the fall!

Early morning walk, lots of turtles sunning themselves, saw a large great blue heron, deer, garden snake, frogs ect., very fun!

Parked in the TOR lot then hit thunder right at the Pegan peak so decided to continue down road and take Main Street back around. Always a gazillion cars and trucks at this time (2:30pm) but enjoyed testing out my rain jacket in the steady rain. Just do it!

Great place! Walked the path recommended at the entrance for young children, approximately 1.5 miles. My three kids loved it (ages 6,4,4). Lots of turtles, ducks, and some frogs. Waterfalls, too! Would love to go back and do other trails! We packed a snack and enjoyed the scenery.

Found a way to +500' elevation gain in 5K. Nice day for a run up, down, around and up again.

We really enjoyed this place. Very family friendly and fairly flat terrain that makes for an easy hike. We saw some beautiful wildlife and flowers (turtles, Lillys and Lilly pads, dragon flies, etc). We only hiked about 1.5 miles and plan to go back to see more. I definitely recommend bringing bug spray as there were a lot of mosquitoes in the wet areas.

Nice hill top views and meadow vistas with bales of hay and wildflowers. Surprised a 5-point buck from his nap and watched him bound away.

This is a beautiful wildlife sanctuary with a variety of trails. On our first visit, we took my frail elderly mother. We borrowed their all-terrain wheelchair and took my mother on the short accessible trail by the lily pond. For our second visit (without my mother), we did a longer hike along the millpond path, Charles River loop, and frog pond trail. The nature is varied with ponds, small waterfalls, the Charles River, woods, and a few meadows. We saw a turtle, frog, deer, a flock of wild turkeys, and numerous other birds. Trails are generally well-marked, and we only had a few points of confusion.

Beautiful!

Beautiful during every season. Lovely trails and a fantastic boardwalk, so many great critters to see along the way!

Wished some trail paths were marked better.
Paths are partly maintained.

My short intense workout series starts here. I'm thinking I should be able to get this down to 14 minutes. Stay tuned!

Nice day for a hill run, beat the thunderstorms! Spooked 4 wild turkeys up in the Mumford Forest, they clucked their way into the wooded area.

Did a loop out in the Indian Brook Trail area. Very cool with a vernal pool to check out too. Noticed a wild turkey in the field, she hung pretty close to the trail so I could check her out. Big bird! This is a great property, check it out.

What a lovely place 5 dollars to get in but worth every penny

Beautiful birding, boardwalk, mill pond has many falls, Charles river loop extension is a must.

A beautiful nature reserve with well marked trails and many water bodies populated with fowl. A great place for birdwatching and hiking.

Just a beautiful place. Wildlife overlook, small waterfall. Well maintained. Nice staff.
Over 900 acres. You can spend an hour or all day.

Nice little trail. Map is inaccurate, it marks the trail going over paved road on the southern portion.

Great trail run today over through the Mumford property where I spooked about a dozen wild turkeys. They have a cozy little spot in the Mumford forest there near the fruit farm. I continued up to Lewis Hill where the views were awesome given the nice clear, sunny day. I then ran down the road and caught the trail back up and around and over Pegan Hill back to the parking lot. This is a really nice property owned and managed by the Trustees of Reservations.

Broadmoor is a lot more than a loop trail - it is multiple easy paths through differing terrain including across several boardwalks over the large moor itself. It's an Audubon property which means a delight in the morning. Sometimes I just sit at the entrance and watch the swallows at work. If you can get there during the week when it's quieter it is really heavenly. The drive in from Wellesly through parts of old Natick is also very pretty. Sign up for Audubon while you're there! If a place is good for the birds it's good for everyone.

Gorgeous! No dogs allowed. Great place for bird watching with woods, fields, a river, and two ponds.

I have been walking this trail since 1972 and it never fails. We can learn much from the natural history and the human history of this sanctuary. Use it quietly. Great for a midweek ramble at any time of year.

Nice place for bird and nature photography that's within short driving distance. As a member of the Mass Audubon it is one of the top five to visit.
