Beautiful hike. Picnic in the partially mowed meadow was great fun, and it is not too crowded due to limited parking so easy to maintain social distance. Trails in the Mumford Forest section were quite muddy and a trail that is featured on the map as looping through Mumford Forest petered out into swamp, and after a lot of muddy bushwhacking we had to retreat (but it was squishy fun!!)

Beautiful walk, would love to come back but with BOOTS. The mud was a lot to deal with. It was fun but had three kids and we all ruined our shoes. We had no issue with social distancing as the parking lot is small.

The lowest elevation portion of the trail, below the field, is very muddy and difficult to navigate

I would not recommend the narrow trails in the time of Covid-19. You could space out in the fields though. the parking lot was small but that was fine. Again, I only have negative feelings because it is hard to distance from others on the trail. Otherwise, it seems like a nice place to walk. Seeing the peach and apple fields nearby was quite wonderful.

Great trail for families. The open fields are a great place to let kiddos run. FYI, if you put pegan hill into google, it will not take you to the parking lot. Take the second entrance into pegan ln off of pleasant st. There are signs along the road to help.

Muddy - not just a bit but sinking into it on section of trail next to farm - would avoid this portion. Other parts were nice.

Beautiful little trail with a some elevation. Great meadow and farm views. Not crowded now during Covid. Only did the main loop as I read the woodland route was pretty wet. Nice dry, breezy day today. No bugs.

This was a really beautiful setting with a nice mix of orchard, forest, meadows, but also mud! Really grateful that it was open during social distancing measures.

Awesome trail! This area of the country is incredible! You may want to wear waterproof boots as the trail can get pretty wet especially in the spring. Dover MA is a hidden gem!

Holy MUD! The trail leading up Pegan Hill is totally fine in the rain, but the trail going to the Mumford Wildlife Forest trailhead is pure mud in the rain lol. That’s my fault. I didn’t mind, but it’s something to know. The muddy trail followed this cute little stream, and I’m sure it would be lovely on a dry day

Not well marked, so pay attention.

Great hike-trails were fine some snow and icy. Hiking boot no foot traction. Beautiful day not much wildlife a few birds.

Even if it is 60 degree in January and you think it is going to be a nice walk, don’t go on the full loop of this trail! It’s a perfect length for a short hike or trail run but not on a warm day in winter, it is very flooded, so stay elevated if you choose to go in the winter months. It’s a great trail and not that highly trafficked overall. Happy trails!

beautiful and diverse trail! will definitely come back in spring to see wildlife. did see some ducks today though

Very easy trail and extremely well marked (painted dots, reflectors, or ribbons). Will go back in the spring for the wildlife but great hike for someone wanting not much elevation.
