This trail is a godsend for training for my half marathon near the workplace.

Great location to see Lady Slippers. Streams run throughout trails so you might see the occasional a turtle, frog or snake, which we saw all three today. Not recommended after a rain storm.

Pleasant and peaceful

A great trail for easy to moderate hiking with enjoyable scenery. The trail itself is well-maintained and had clear trail posts. We stuck to posts that read "Walleston" which were numbered. Although, there isn't necessarily a clear view of landscape at outlook point of the "hill," there are many beautiful sites along the path with a cascade, a few mini bridges across baby streams, beaver pond, and a few boulder sites, one campground for backpackers, and a stone fence along the trail.

We went on a sunny afternoon in the 50's in April, so no more snow. Little human traffic, only came across one other group. We finished in 1.33hr, made a few stops along the way but also lightly jogged the straightaways just for fun.

Parking available at the beginning of the trail. There's a map that shows "spots" for specific points of interest. Overall, a trail I'd come back to with friends who have not been and maybe for super low-key overnight backpacking.

The scouts did a great job clearing trail and marking it. Easy to follow. My dog Finn loves it.

Snowy and icy but huge potential for trail running come spring, in which I will return. Well maintained trails with helpful little mini bridges. If you stay on trail, no map needed. Signs are simple but direct. MANY options to go off the given trail too! Explored a bit for the impending return :)

It was longer than I expected, there was no water which was kinda a bummer, but the trail was good for a moderate hike and was a great workout on the legs!

Hiked this trail with 3 kids (2.5, 5, 12) in about 2 hours. The trail to/from the parking area was hard to spot from the main trail loop but is marked by a numbered post so pay attention to that number. There are nice rivers and bridges if you go left and a pretty steep hike to a nice vista if you go right. You can see both if you do the whole loop. Really like this trail!

Love this trail. The loop is now clearly marked and has a range from beginner to intermediate. There are also a lot of side trails to explore and points of interest to check out. The best part is my dog is welcome too!

Well, it was a good spot, but got off course a few times. Ended up being a 5 mile walk - still great workout. A few spots with some good elevation gain so got that cardio in :)

FUN Hike. Thought I was lost with my cousins the first time. Was thrilled to find the trail actually looped around when following the red trail! Great views and memories.

Nice trail, managed to do a loop and it took us about an hour, started from going up the peppercorn hill then towards upton conservation area and back around to the car through several bog bridges where dogs could take a dip in the water. I wonder if it is ok to park at the end of the Tufts street and enter the area from there? Anybody tried it>?

This is my favorite local hike. There are many entrances , but it is WAYYYY bigger than this site says. At the top of Peppercorn Hill, you can look out towards Milford, Hopedale, and Whitensville area. It's a hefty rigorous climb to the top though, great cardio! This trail also connects with the back of Amatto Farm, and crosses with the power lines where you can even see the part of Milford where Target is. This place is great for offtrailing! Lots of giant rock structures off trail!
