Park at the skating rink. Rock Circuit Trail is marked with white blazes. It is well marked in places but some places it is challenging to follow. This trail tends to go over every obstacle in sight so be prepared to climb.Show more

Great views of Boston and beyond from Two observation towers. Fells is the Saxon word for " rocky, hilly area", the route travels to the higerst points in this section of the reservation, Its rocky and hilly both. On the open areas notice the multitude of scrape marks on the igneous rock, caused by the retreating glaciers. From the two towers get a great view of Boston and the reservation. Youll pass over an old Soap Box Derby track and next to the Sheepfold, where sheep grazed for hundreds of years. Now a popular spot for dogs to run free.Show more

This is a lovely trail for beginners very well shaded in a nice clean forest, reasonably well marked and popular with bikes and dogs. There are two points along the trail with a great view of the reservoir. It has enough elevation to make it interesting. It is a great trail running option as well. Show more
