Tried to go on May 17, but was closed due to COVID-19. Bummer.

Fun trail. Pretty easy and flat, but the highlight is going off the trail to explore the grounds of the abandoned state hospital.

Good trail conditions minus the un-mowed meadow area. Easy and short but nice. Parking lot could use a clean up!

Easy hike. Some small hills. A great place close to home to get away from civilization. Reminds me of home back in Northern California.

Looked really great but this is a Trustees location, which are all closed due to COVID-19.

Unable to complete entire trail because of private property signs

Nice trail, I’d say it’s more “easy” rated than moderate. A little close to some houses so it didn’t feel very secluded. A few parts of the yellow loop were quite muddy this time of year.

Great walk. Moderate traffic.

Overall, the trail was great. It wasn’t too challenging but was still long. However, it was really poorly marked and it was difficult to figure out where we were supposed to go. In addition, there were several “private property” signs and multiple occasions where you’re walking in people’s backyards and one time walking across a neighborhood’s street. If the trail were better marked I would have given it a four.

pretty cool loop. you can see foxboro stadium from outlook

Awful markers. Found some neat frogs and butterflies. Just a jog through the woods. muddy. not crowded at least. a lot of private property around the trails. I would skip it if I was you.

Too much dog poop. I stepped in it twice within the first 10 mins of being there. Not sure if dogs were allowed off leash but they were every where. Always fun to have a random dog, no owner in sight, run up and sniff you while you're crouched down taking photos.

Mostly wide gravel trails. Well marked. Some elevation on the tower tail otherwise mostly flat. Echo lake looks like a tree grave yard after heavy beaver activity.

The place is pretty popular so there was a decent amount of people, however there is SO much space it doesn’t feel busy out on the trails.

Little muddy but manageable. Snow cover completely gone. Flat and mostly a walk in the woods.

packed down icy in winter. microspikes a plus. calming and protected from winds mostly

Stumbled upon a quarry today on my way up Cedar Hill. Noticed a straight shot trail up the east side of Cedar Hill so checked it out then bushwacked down and around and came across a cool, perhaps Colonial era, granite quarry. Check it out!

Took in a bit more of the back portion of Noon Hill Rez before heading down into Shattuck and enjoyed that. A great property! Just do it!

Really liked this walk. Very pretty scenery throughout. Pretty simple to stick to the trails and few obstructions. The only reason it was four and not five stars is that someone was shooting a gun nearby, which was very disconcerting as it got louder/closer on my way back toward the parking lot.

I keep my honeybees on the farm here and took a jog around to check on them and see what forage, if any, might be available now that my friendly farmer has left me. Found lots of cherry blossoms blooming which is great as I think the bees will love these. The trees are in wet areas too so the nectar should be flowing. Say hi to my bees if you're over that way!
