Perfect jogging route if you prefer a paved path. Very gentle inclines. Very well maintained. Not at all crowded on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. There are benches and fences at intervals that are handy for stretching. Road crossings have signals that give crossers the right of way. I parked in the municipal lot on Jefferson St. behind Kelleher Field.

Close by and a good walking trail.

Nice walk with up and down elevation. We did the blue, orange and green trail and it was just over three miles. Well groomed and marked trails.

Very pretty, perfect for an easy medium/long walk on a nice day. Lots of turtles and birds to see! The paths closer to the visitor center (around the ponds and mill brook) are wide and clear. The paths that head further away (past the fields) are less maintained and buggy in the heat. I imagine this place is beautiful in the fall!

Early morning walk, lots of turtles sunning themselves, saw a large great blue heron, deer, garden snake, frogs ect., very fun!

fun easy walk. bring your bug spray.

This is a gorgeous place. However it is not very well marked; there are lots of little trails off here and there, and white, blue, and orange markings but not clear on the map... we got crazy terribly lost. Ended up just literally trying to get to a street and walking on the street back to where we parked our car. Internet reception gets iffy in the middle of the woods. Would absolutely love it if we could be confident about where we were/headed when in the woods.

As a walking trail pretty good some uphill bits but nothing you can’t handle. The waterfall is actually a nice sight though it is more of a stream than a typical waterfall of your imagination. All in all good place for a quick walk in the woods.

A very nice way to get acquainted with the city when you are there for the first time. We all enjoyed it, including our 8-year-old son.

Beautiful views along water and through woods. Some nice beaches for swimming if you wanted. Blazes and signage could have been more clear.

Wish it was longer.

I walk these trails all the time with my dog and love them. Took at the All Trails route today and discovered that the trail no longer connects all the way around. To follow the map you will have to cross a beaver damn/flooded area. We did it, rather than turn around, but came home with muddy paws and wet feet. Plenty of other trail options though and definitely worth the visit, particularly when the water Lillie’s are in bloom.

Not a very scenic trail and somewhat over grown in areas. It was very well marked though.

Wide variety of paths and difficulty for both hiking, trail running and mountain biking. It can be easy to get lost, so be prepared with a trail map if you veer off main loop.

Technical pretty good for people that want to improve their skills with rollovers jumps and picking lines

Beautiful and varied terrain. Only got a chance to wander for a bit, but this is definitely a place I want to return to and explore some more.

This is a must do when going to the Boston area. It’s full of history and and wonderful hike through Boston. We elected to use a tour guide and it made it so much richer.

Easy trail with some elevations. Nice views and fairly quiet.

Flat for whole trail. Easy walking. The lake is nice. Most of the trail is on a Major street so there is constant traffic along side where you are walking.

Bugs were unbearable for a hike.

Lovely hike!

Great place! Walked the path recommended at the entrance for young children, approximately 1.5 miles. My three kids loved it (ages 6,4,4). Lots of turtles, ducks, and some frogs. Waterfalls, too! Would love to go back and do other trails! We packed a snack and enjoyed the scenery.

grab a map at the entrance or download off the web for Lynn woods. trails are all marked with grid numbers and letters. A lot to explore if you use the grid. watch out for special surprises on the trails from ignorant dog owners, as will as some coyotes. Deer do come out on the day, keep your eyes open.

I’m on this trail everyday on weekdays. It’s a beautiful loop that’s fairly easy. Parking inside can be a pain if you aren’t a Cambridge resident. But there’s plenty of street parking if you come from Concord ave. It isn’t a moderate trail; it’s definitely an easy one.

First time on this trail was 8/19/18, post two week rain period. Lots of mud, water.. but extremely fun. I being a new MTN biker had to work ward on this trail. I recommend it and am looking forward to doing this again very soon.!

Beautiful hike. I was amazed when I saw the falls. Had no idea such beauty existed so close to the Worcester.

Wonderful combo of trail & pond. Nice fresh water beaches.

Pleasant hike.

A great family hike around Boston! Food options were delicious; gotta check out Quincy Market. Love Boston culture and its history.

beautiful scenic trail!
