Could not gain access to this trail due to the only road to get in is a private way with a keep out sign. I was looking forward to seeing this trail .

Go to this trail on a rainy day and admire the waterfall!

Solid loop, but there are some streams to cross right at the start and some abandoned trails. We walked, but this is a fairly rocky trail that is probably not great for runners. Parking on that dirt road isn’t bad for a few cars. There’s a pond north of the loop that is perfectly circular on the map, but it’s surrounded by marshlands. Really wanted to see it in person, but it appears to be completely inaccessible. The western trail we had to double-back on has lots of fallen trees obstructing it and near the end of the extended loop we attempted, to our dismay, it is completely flooded by two marshes that are now connected. Overall, it was an challenging hike for us with a small dog and two kids under 7, but it was an adventure!

Very pleasant hike, will definitely be back! According to my tracker, the trail was 7.6 miles.

really enjoyed this hike. we went to go see the falls after a day in the city. I was looking for a short hike but as we started to get into it we kept on expanding upon the loop until it was about 3.5miles until we got back to the car. we didn't even realize we had been out that long, the most trecherous part was at the beginning climbing up along the fall. got to say some beautiful nature, had a red tailed hawk land within feet of me and find it's dinner!

my only caution is watch for the path coming back from the paved driveway towards the falls (I forget the name). we went in where it was marked but they apparently moved the path off to our left, never saw the entrance just went in where the app told is (and was marked as a trailhead). after traversing some brush and briars we finally located the path and hopped back on, saw a sign later saying the path was moved!

great gem hidden in the outskirts of Worcester!

Did a loop out in the Indian Brook Trail area. Very cool with a vernal pool to check out too. Noticed a wild turkey in the field, she hung pretty close to the trail so I could check her out. Big bird! This is a great property, check it out.

Parked at the pullout on South St. and headed northeast to the Charles River loop area. Returned via the blue trail admiring the triple waterfalls in the center of the property. Continued southwesterly to the private gate then climbed back up to the road and my car. Awesome property, give it a try!

Beautiful loop in the woods and my dog loved it!

Good views from the monument, you can see much of the Cape, and even the Massachusetts mainland on a clear day.

What a lovely place 5 dollars to get in but worth every penny

Really enjoyed the trails. Ended up doing a 5 mile hike zig zagging down many of the trails that cut through the main circle loop shown on the map.

Great place to get lost. Make sure you bring a GPS.

Paved path. Very easy walk. No parking.

Diggin' this rail trail! I grew up in Hudson and even got to watch the building of some of this trail. It's great for a long walk, a jog or bike ride. And it's beautifully scenic as it scrolls along the Assabet River and through the ever-growing downtown Hudson area and into Marlborough. Worth the hike, check it out. (Park in Hudson. No parking reported in Marlborough.)

Decent hike, was looking to do some photography but nothing too astounding

nice walk around the lake. very good marked with yellow signs

This is one of the many very nice parks in New Bedford. The walk is around the perimeter of the park, pond, zoo, ball fields, and woods. Very busy traffic on the roads adjacent to the park. Accessible for wheelchairs and strollers.

Muddy after big rain yesterday but very enjoyable walk. Nice streams along the way .I saw a woman on horseback. Will be back

One of my favorite local spots! Trails are clear and clean.A good spot to walk barefoot for grounding! A few steep hills but there are alternate paths for shaky knees.

This trail has 2 beautiful waterfalls and great views from a ledge high above the lake and river. The hardest trail to find on the route is the steep trail that goes up to the ledges from the river. It is not well marked or well traveled. If you decide to go uphill on this trail, look for a reflector on a tree on the left and some red and blue ribbons on the trees on the right and confirm with your ALLTrails app. If you get confused, just keep going uphill. If you go up that way first and walk along the ledges trail, toward Spirit Falls, you may not be able to cross the falls at the top if the water is high. You may want to go up the trail that follows the falls first (the farthest one - just south of "Tall Timbers" on the map). If you can't cross at the top to return along the ledges, at least you have seen Spirit Falls and can retrace your steps without doing the loop. Late winter or spring is best if you want to see the falls ripping and roaring. Bring microspikes (maybe snowshoes, too) in winter and early spring as parts of the trail can be icy. Parts of the trail are steep and rocky. Don't forget to look for a short trail that goes out to a bench on the ledges where you'll have a great view of the lake and river. It's just south of where it says "The Ledges" on the map. The trail is fine in the summer, but don't expect a lot of water at the falls.

Close by and well marked trails
Not a quiet place - close to roads - but still pretty

Gorgeous water views all the way around. Plan on 3+ hours, it is definitely longer than 6 miles. You are almost always with in sight of a house or road, you are not out alone in nature. We saw one park ranger and one other group of hikers the whole way around. Despite all the houses it was very peaceful (in February).

Went for a trail run here today, what a terrific property. Plenty of parking and plenty of space for hiking and trail running. Even nice for a picnic as I noticed a bunch of tables up by the house.

Nice flat walk with pretty views of the lake. Wide trails make for easy passing. Make sure to stop and see the castle before continuing the lake loop!

mostly paved, flat path along the water. Plenty of parking.

This was a wonderful hike/walk in the ice and snow. but I would not call it hard or sometimes even moderate. It might be listed that for its length but not the terrain.

Decent walk around the lake. Mostly on sidewalk along a busy street. Plenty of parking available.
