Leominster, Massachusetts Map

First hike in many years as i start a new health routine. This was a nice out and back(although we looped around the pond) fairly level and very lightly trafficked. A good re-entry to hiking start trail.

The trail is very well marked and there are post markers along the way. Trail is hilly at times, really got my blood flowing. Towards the end of the trail I could see the reservoir but had to cut thru the trees and bushes to actually see it. The trail continues after the reservoir, not sure if where I turned around was where the map shows the turn around point. It was very quiet on the trail during my 5 hours hiking I only saw 5 other people.

hiked this on 4/14 with my husband, mother in law, friend and her 3 year old son, and our lab. we missed the turn off so ended up doing it in reverse. it is not marked very well. pretty easy hike. very muddy on this day. very quiet; we saw no one else on the trail but did see others on Paramenter Street. parking is great - we entered Elm Street at Paramenter St in Leominster on GPS and found it easily.

Hiked a 3+ mile variation of this loop today. A few short section with water and mud and even some ice. All these easy to circumnavigate. Rate this easy for any experienced hiker and would give four stars on a cold snowy day or warm sunny day. One scenic overlook. Less than 500 feet of elevation gain. Nice walk through the woods. Disappointed to find so much trash at the overlook. No time for idiots who carry in and don’t carry out.
