Main trail is a straight shot, well kept. We parked on Haggetts Pond Road and did the trail “backwards”. Lots of little off shoots with great views of the pond that all lead back to the main trail. Most dogs off leash. Parking lot fills quick.

Great loop! We extended it through a larger loop past the power lines, but the option to make it a much longer adventure or a good quick walk are both available. Will definitely be back to explore more of this area. Considering starting from a different point as we hiked past a different parking area connected through this system as well in Andover.

Lots of trails to explore here if you use both reservations (Bald Hill & Rafton). Fun time trying to stay dry on one section of Rafton. Highway noise from 495 & 93 are main reasons for not giving more stars. Great trail system for its neighbors tho.

Great trail-Easy to follow and my dog loved it. But beware right now the ticks are HORRIBLE. Worst I’ve had in a while, had to get 20+ off my dog and a few off my clothes.

Found four ticks on my dog - one was a tiny deer tick. There was brush obscuring the trail in one spot, making it difficult to navigate. It was flooded in multiple areas - went home with soaked feet! I wouldn’t recommend this trail unless it dried out.

Clear trails and markers, very muddy in spots. A nice picnic spot next to a creek

Lots of hills and mud...probably better in the non-rainy season. Easy to follow trail.
